Tackle bags , boxes or your own thing...
nice. right now , i have this bag ( the 10") with my stuff in it - http://www.kmart.com/shc/s/p_10151_10104_9990000038586411P?keyword=tool+bag+combo&sid=K-on-Sx20k061224x0000001 . i have an old tool belt im using as a shoulder strap. its 'rigged' but it does its job for the time being. i was looking for a box , but i never really like the construction of any of the ones ive seen. i really need to get to BPS to check out their bags in person...

I need suggestions on a rod/reel.
this will be going on a light action deal , so id like to have a smaller reel. could you compare the sahara to the president?

I need suggestions on a rod/reel.
they do look nice, but im trying to go for a smaller setup. in the 1000 range. kinda off topic question , but do some reels require less up-keep than others? which ever i get , id like it to need as less maitinance as possible.

I need suggestions on a rod/reel.
This will be my first 'real' rod and reel combo. All my others have been $20-30 store bought combo's. For a reel , id like to spend around $70. So far I keep finding myself eyeing the new Shimano Saraha SH1000FD , and the Pflueger President series since ive seen the name recommended alot around here. And for a rod , probably something around $40. All of my previous combos have been ugly sticks and I have had no problems with them. What im looking for is a good light action 2 piece deal that can take a bit of abuse since it will be sitting in the car or truck and can be used for fresh and salt water. I know I wont be bringing in Dolphin or Tuna and I dont intend to , just whatever I catch at the local marina and the cousins lake. Any suggestions , tips or pointers? Thanks alot in advance.

New here.
I finally decided to join since I do alot of my late night reading here. Im from South Miami , fish when I can (or when the fiance lets me , which isnt that often) and just trying to get better at it. There isnt too many lakes in the area , but when I get the chance to fish in one , im all over it. Im not a professional by any means , and if anything you can say im just 'getting into it' even though I have fished many many times. Also , dont mind the display name , its just one I use on all the forums im on and dont want to have too many that i forget which ones which and have to make a new account. BTW , nice site.
