  1. We are starting a new club in Jasper,Tn. The club is set up for team fishing, the following lakes will be fished for tournaments. Nickajack Lake, Guntersville Lake, Chickamauga Lake and Tims Ford Lake. check out web site: tnriverbc.net Tennessee River Bass Club
  2. I want to pass this along to upcoming Guntersville trips. The ramp at Mud Creek has been closed due to people running off the ramp and sinking their vehicles, at this point in time I haven't heard when and if it will be reopened. Boaters can put in at crow creek and Jackson County Park.
  3. I fished Lake Weiss last Saturday, I caught several fish throwing Texas rigged lizards( watermelon red, green pumpkin), this was by fishing rip rap, be prepared to break off on rocks. the water was very stained and muddy, I would take a firetiger or chartreuse crank bait as well. If you have never fished the lake before be sure to stay in the channel markers as you move, very shallow water. by the way junebug is a good color also.
  4. I use a lowrance m68c unit on my jon boat it costs around $400.00, it is a color unit with gps so for the money it is a good unit. you can go to the lowrance web site and download their unit simulators to see which is best for you.
  5. Spring fishing on Guntersville is good fishing, I did well last spring throwing the xcalibur xr50 rayburn red rattle bait, that was in Mud Creek.
