  1. to me , a NRX is the same as a Carrot Stix with premium guides ....
  2. it does not , it '' welds '' the plastic through a chemical process of melting the plastic together rather than ''glueing '' like super glue does , your bait will be good as new
  3. return it and get a St.Croix , you will be much happier ....
  4. love all the video's of different techniques
  5. right here in northern San Diego , Ca . !!!!
  6. another option is to buy a mold and handpour some baits yourself and experiment with the plastisol and come up with your own take on how soft , firm , or what different colors you like
  7. check out that 'Bub rig' video in the BassResource video library , a heavy duty drop shot rig perfect for heavy vegatation !!!
  8. KVD line & lure works good , i also wipe my guides with it .
  9. MEND-IT .... you can use super glue but the spot where you fix will NOT be flexible but really stiff and start to flake , can be used in as a quick fix on the water but you would be better off saving torn plastics used during the day , take them home and use the mend it to fix them right and then rotate them back into your soft plastic arsenal !!
  10. bend often ?? that hook bends like it's made of plastic !!!
  11. Kinami baits was Derek Yamamoto , Gary Yamamoto is his Dad ...
  12. if i change out treble hooks , on go Owner ST-41's , mostly on big baits ..
  13. find a good airbrush artist , i did , i have a Revo Toro 51 painted black , cost me $40 . the guy used automotive paint and automotive clear , has held up pretty good ....

  15. mojo rig ........
  16. The shakey head jig hooks I paint are used with plastics which I always smear with Pro Cure ...
  17. try tightning the spool tension nob , take a look at the " setting up a baitcaster '' at the top !!!! sorry . look at the other post i made a little down !!
  18. i wrote this not as a bash , but to point out that customer service should also be a big consideration before making a tackle purchase , these days with reels and rods costing hundreds of dollars , you have to be able to buy with confidence that a manufacturer will back up their product and that they can answer any question you have . that said , first impressions are big , too many options out there ....
  19. looks like a saltwater fisherman , ready to outfit a day boat
  20. i just recently made the switch from Abu Garcia to Lew's reels , i have a Tournament MG and a Tournament Lite and in the process of getting a BB2 Pro , These reels are Very good and cast great , to top it all off , their customer service is AAA plus !!! awhile back ( 8 years ago ) i had a shimano rod that broke so i went to their Irvine headquarters and talked with the people there and was left with a bad taste , that said , customer service is key to me , Lew's products and customer service is very good , you can buy with confidence ....
