  3. For me, hands down the best jerkbait has been the Xcalibur XS4. Its deadly.
  4. I prefer a moderate tip for treble hook lures.

  11. Weightless Zoom super fluke with 3/0 Gamakatsu EWG hook(4/0 is too heavy and sinks too fast) fished erratically with very short pause here and there.

  15. Soft plastics will work year round. If it were me, I'd be throwing a weightless zoom fluke, hard jerkbait, shallow crank, lipless crank.

  17. I'm dying to get my hands on a whole arsenal of Dobyns rods. Gonna wait till next season.
  18. I've tried them all but the most consistent one for me has been the Xcalibur XS4. I SLAYED bass and trout in march and april of this year with it.
  19. Too big for a bass? Never. You can go down to 3/8oz if you like
