5 rods is not too many for a co-angler. I have an 18.5 foot boat and my cos usually have 4 or 5 rods and it's not an issue. I would bring them all. Where it gets a little crowded is with the amount of tackle you bring, not the rods. If you want to get rid of one, just leave one of your 7'MH casting rods at home. You'll just have to re-tie a little more often.

It is good to see that one of the best in the business has brain farts too :D!!! Glad he's OK too.

Absolutely. I cringed when he made the first 2 pulls that didn't work. You have to give a quick, firm pull on the FIRST try. A cold beer before and after the extraction is also highly recommended. That is the way to do it, but I prefer a nice shot of Jack Daniels, fore and aft surgery!!!

That is possible, I just started using it exclusively this past season. If that is the case, they did improve it and I would recommend it. The issues you say you had with TripleFish is the same problems I had with the Vicious.

Unlike RW, I really like the TripleFish flouro. I use mine on spinning gear too, and haven't had an issue. Unlike the others, I hated Vicious fluoro. It would break if you breathed on it wrong!! If it was a bad box, that would lead me to believe the quality of the product is not consistant and I wouldn't want to use a product that is not consistant every time I spool up. Like everything else--Its all personal preference.

With all the tons of tackle I have.... I caught my biggest bass on a 1/8 oz. Black Maribou Road Runner while I was fishing for panfish---from shore. I didn't have a scale on me, but there was no doubt that fish was pushing 7lbs. And for NY that is a very nice bass.

Try going to Lurenet.com---they have a lot of Bomber colors that you don't see in BPS or Cabelas. This is THE site to get your YUM baits too, if thats what you like.

I have caught so many fish on these cranks!!! If I want to see if they're on a crankbait bite, these are the first plugs I tie on. If I had to pick three colors to start with, mine would be (for all models): Craw W/Orange Belly Splatter Back Craw Chart. Brown

Erieville is a great little reservoir!! Not much size, but you can kill the 14-16 inchers. The walleye fishing has gotten pretty good there too.

I think you have it covered!! Now you'll just end up buying duplicates of the rods you have so you don't have to re-tie as much!!

I forgot the OZ. after the 1/4---it was a 1/4 oz Rooster tail.

I was about ten years old (about two and half decades ago!) and I got my first 4 pound Smallie. I got it on a 1/4 silver/white Rooster Tail spinner on an 5'6" ultralight combo with 4lb line. It was in my original home town of Oswego on Lake Ontario, from shore. I haven't lived in Oswego in over 20 years, but I could go there tomorrow and pick the exact rock I was standing on when I caught it. I've been totally absorbed in the sport ever since!!!

I am not a fan of Jr. or his dad, but the stunt that JR pulled was what his dad did a million times to win races and he is praised for being a great driver. Dale Sr. was on of the dirtiest drivers out there and still gets billed as one of the greatest "drivers" of all times. IMHO

Two "words" that are used a lot and stick in my craw---BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT REAL WORDS!!!! Supposably and Irregardless I believe in English it is Supposedly and Regardless. Do you guys come across people making grammar mistakes that drive you nuts??

SENKOS!!!! Made good fisherman better and bad fisherman good. There was a guy in a club I was in, and he would use nothing but Senkos..and I mean nothing!!

I want to start out by saying Jimmy Stewart is WAY before my time, but everytime I see one of his movies on AMC---I'm hypnotized. I don't know what it is about him. I guess you could say he has "IT", whatever "it" is!!! Plus he's in a bunch of Alfred Hitcock movies, which are all amazing to begin with. Some of my favs: Rear Window, Spiral Staircase, Dial M for Murder, Flight of the Pheonix, Vertigo.....the list goes on---He's awesome in everyone of them!!!

It should be a cosmic law that nothing additional can happen to those families of the victims of 9-11. My heart goes out to all the families, but how much can one family take!!!

X2---I feel trimming the skirt back gives your trailer more room to work it's magic. I trim the brush guards too, not sure if it makes a difference with hook-ups, but I have too much confidence in it to throw a jig without trimming it first.

No luck at Wal-Mart---went to three of them in my area. I heard on another site that Wal-Mart is going to stop selling the Devcon brand, so I assume this has already taken place here. So DSAAVEDRA, if you can still get it, I would stock up!!! All I could find was Loctite products---would these work??
