  1. Eel grass was the ticket for me. They have been in there and biting for almost a month now so it is probably tapering off. I think there was a pretty good spawn with the last full moon.
  2. What is up with the fake water sounds in that show? I think they are the only show that does that and it is the most annoying thing in the world. Somebody in that production company should be fired for that.
  3. good job. Yeah i was debating fishing the monthly there next weekend but i havent been fishing there recently and have NO fiish to speak of.
  4. Caught 23 on Saturday but only one over 3. The week before we caught 32 with a 5.5 and a bunch of 3's and 4's. Water temp was down like 2 degrees this weekend. Word must be out because every week there are more boats.
  5. Pat needs to change clothes. he wore the same thing fishing the day before. haha Congrats on the new boat.
  6. Yeah i guess the word is out now huh? I was going to hit it until i realized it would take me about 2.5 hours to get there. Good catching.
  7. The only ones i am sad to see are the peacocks.
  8. Fished Osbourne on Saturday. Saw some talapia, clown knife fish, ciclids floating....no peacocks. Went to Lox yest. Talapia, and ciclids floating, no peacocks. Caught 11 to 3 lbs at lox.
  9. Yup. Buddy of mine caught some off of Northlake. That was the furthest north i ever heard of them being......besides transplants.
  10. water clarity is the biggest factor for me.
  11. Today is a tough day to fish down here. Tough week actually. If you just want to get bit throw a four inch straight tail worm with a light weight or fish that senko even slower. Fish sllllllooooowwww. Put that buzz bait away. There will be a time for it......but it isnt now.
  12. I fish the northern end off of Southern. Like the rest of the Lox it is hit or miss. There are no open areas like down south so you are fishing canals and water control structures.
  13. ahahahaha How is that question funny? :-? you dont think Pat knows what lake that is? I was laughing at his sarcasm.
  14. The fish hasnt spawned yet. Look at her tail.....not a mark on it.
  15. How did you have a tourn there? Was it a photo/release torunament?
  16. I think the problem might something other than the knot.
  17. good work. hard to catch a peacock on a jig or slow moving bait.....they spit them out very quickly usually.
  18. I would recommend Lake Okeechobee for the bass and then Flamingo or Biscayne Bay for the inshore. Tons of guides available for all of those locations. btw if you are dead set on bones then flamingo is out and biscayne is it. The rest you can catch in both places.
  19. My opinion on both: TT- small, almost a finesse swim bait, narrow wobble, two smaller lighter wire hooks, floatation is adjustable. Casts pretty well. SPRO- bigger, wide wobble, moves alot of water, one big hook, not adjustable depth wise. Tends to catch the wind and not cast as well unless you roll cast. Not good to throw into wind. Both have their places.
  20. Did you go? How was it? I was catching some fish on the North end. The water is getting low again......should start getting good soon.
  21. ^why would you call out a spot like that? I am not saying you are right or not but why would you do that? That is why people swirl backgrounds. I'm all for sharing information and I've never faded a background out, my policy will never change. The further south you go the better the peas get, if anyone gets down this way, I'd share what I know. Peas are abundant in Delray. Good for you......but this wasnt your information to share. I am sure if he wanted to name the spot he would have in his post.

  23. I pull out some drag several times during a trip just to check. It is just habit now.
