  1. Hey whatsup guys i havn't posted here in a while but since i have, i caught my new PB largemouth and smallmouth. This largemouth is my new PB, it went 5 lbs and i cheated to catch it (live bluegill). lol I would've killllled to catch this thing in the prespawn. I went to lake erie (out of ohio) on mother's day weekend with my mom and grandparents. we met up with my uncle and aunt and fished a little. This smallmouth went 3 lbs 4 oz and was caught on a 1/16 oz jig head (white and chartreuse) with a small crappie minnow hooked through the lips. tight lines -Jason
  2. i'll lookin' at gettin' a revo SX or STX and i can't decide which one to get. They both have 11 bearings. What's the mechanical difference? Which is the better caster? I can pay the extra 30 bucks but is it worth it? Thanks! and all information will be appreciated ;D -Jason
  3. get the shock ;D I already have the 6'6" MH and just ordered the 6'6" M. I really like the split grip and soft tip and I think you would like it as well -Jason
  4. hey ghost i remeber you posting a pic of your fishing room a while back and i would like to see it again could you, RW, or someone else post a link to that so i could look at it again??? I can't find it anymore lol thanks! -Jason
  5. where did you find the Calcutta 51? i can only find 50s could someone list a website that has the 51s? thanks! -Jason
  6. ok i think i'll get the sol, i still have a lot of time to gather some money so keep the votes coming!!!!!! i'm tryin' to get to 100 votes haha -Jason
  7. I love mine, it's light and has a good action to it, i'm very satisfied.
  8. Nothing real heavy, lots of working light plastics over sparse hydrilla beds, some shallow cranking, some flipping jigs(1/2 oz and under; nothing real heavy), I think i'm actually leaning towards the Sol because i'll be casting lighter stuff, what do you think?
  9. I plan on using it for all around applications
  10. Hey guys I will soon be in the market for a new baitcaster in the 200-270$ but there are so many options, it's just hard to choose! I already have a curado E, so Please Pick one different from that and State in a reply why you chose it ;D If you pick other, please state which reel and why thanks -Jason
  11. A quantam Honestly either a 4600 or calcutta 1 or 2 hundred
  12. I own a curado e and have used a friends stx for a couple of hours, the curado's brakes seem easier to set and i feel that with weights 1/2 oz and under the curado is the real deal, i can throw weightless 3 inch senkos with mine. The Revo STX casted alot better than the curado with lures weighing 5/8 oz an up, So it depends on what you throw, lighter weights? get the curado, heavier weights? get the STX. This is just my personal opinion from using them both, hope you are happy with whatever one you get ;D -Jason

  15. thanks man! that's what i was looking for, now only one(or two) questions to be answered... Is clear nail polish a safe substitute for epoxy, and is clear nail polish water proof? thanks guys!
  16. I'm thinking about practicing splitting a rear grip on one of my cheaper rods ( for practice before i move into the big leagues ;D ) and i remeber seeing a tutorial on one before in this section but i can't seem to find it, could someone list the link to it??? Also i Remeber one thing from it and that was when you are done sanding everything down to epoxy it to increase the life of it ... and i saw someone on another site using clear nail polish, is this a safe alternative, is clear nail polish water proof??? All answers will be appreciated - Jason
  17. The last one resembles the lucky craft color "bull bream" It as alot more dots on it, which i like ;D nice jog
  18. Haha dude that's just horrible ! It goes like this --------- Shimano > Everything Else lol jk jk it's all about your preferences
  19. No debate, this topic has been beat to death on this board. Just the normal Shimano vs. Daiwa ribbing, that's all. Use whatever you feel is best suited for your needs. lol I was just messing with you guys ;D
  20. do i smell a debate???????????? ;D The black widow has a graphite sideplate and composite drag star hahahahaha the citica's is aluminum and feels sturdier :-X Hey the Citica may be heavier but big girls need love too - Jason
  21. haha thanks , you should see my citica, it's all blinged up, lol it's on a berkley lightning rod shock series ( orange and grey split-grip rod) with bright electric lime green line on it, with black, red, and white reel grips It's goofy but i love it.
  22. what's wrong with the second run ones? I'm just curious I'm not getting one or anything ... yet
  23. no nothings wrong with it i just saw one on ***.com and got hyped up but after comparing the two on tackletour I think i'll keep the citica, it seems better built.
  24. I just need your opinion real quick should i take my Citica 200d back and get a Daiwa black widow 2 or keep the citica? I need quick answers please ;D -Jason P.S- What kind of warranty does the black widow 2 come with?
