Fish it anyway you like! I like to fish the Reaction Innovations Sweat Beaver on a 2/0 EWG hook with a 1/4 oz tungsten bullet weight (not pegged). Cast it out and work it like a jig. Another option is to fish it weightless, these baits glide ALOT when rigged weightless. -Jason

lol yea, everyone was basically calling me a shoplifter, and i just wanted make sure we were cool.

i'm aware of this and i did not shoplift, the price stickers on the lucky crafts were "1.99 eagle claw hooks". I did tell them it was wrong when i got to the cash register and they changed it but honored the price tag, much like you said, and yesterday i went back and they had all there lucky crafts restocked and i bought one for 14.99. I'm sorry if I caused any confusion but I didn't say that i switched any stickers on products which i didn't, shop-lifting is wrong and I have caught a couple shoplifters in dicks, notified employees and said shoplifter was caught. Another great deal I came across was at sports authority, the Mustad Ultra Point hooks (big tube bite or something) EWG hooks were 47 cents a pack, i only picked up 10 but i came back later that week to pick up more and the clearence bins were gone, all items were back on shelfs, and all items were back to standard price. -Jason

this is not theft at all, the employees who stock the shelfs wrong are at falt, i did not switch stickers and i did not steal. All of the lucky craft were on the eagle claw hook racks and had eagle claw hook stickers on them, I saw that as an opportunity and bought all of them. That just sounds like luck to me and one dumb employee, Jason

big mike, i turned down the gain and things like that and it didn't help :-[ i've never heard of anything like this happening to this model of amp. I can't get any distortion out of it at all. I'll just send in the rebate and get a new one. Thank you very much for your advice though -Jason

I have a line 6 spider 3 30 watt amplifier, i've only had since the beginning of july. When i got to turn the channels on my amp they all sound like the clean channel. This started doing this about 30 minutes ago. I can't get any distortion out of the crunch, metal, or insane channels. The orange lights light up but it's just clean, no dirt at all. What's wrong with it? Could someone please tell me how to fix it? thanks in advance ! -Jason

thanks everyone haha and yea i would say it's my lucky shirt now, the hot dogs were gwaltney chicken hot dogs . My mom caught her first catfish the next day it went about 5 pounds. The fish in this little pond love big chunks of hotdog lol, yesterday a HUGE cat pulled my mom's rod in the pond and i still havn't found it :-[

my previous pb was 5 lbs which i got in april and i got this one on a chunk of hot dog while i was catfishing, this is the biggest bass i've ever seen in real life so i was quite excited ;D (i live in delaware haha) this bass went 6 pounds 5 ounces Then about 4 days later i finally hooked into the big channel cat i was waiting for, he went about 6 1/2 pounds

it's got 3 side screws, i will post number on reel foot later.

Hey guys how much do you think i could get for a Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 5000?the original red one. I recieved it from a neighbor but really don't use it it has a small nick on the left side of the reel above the side plate, it is right handed and has all the boxes and papers + accesories and case it came with. this has happened to me with crankbaits while bankfishing (that's all i do), they'll hit it right at your feet and scare the s*** out of you haha! This happens alot more often with jigs, i'll feel the hit and either set the hook too late or too early. So i'll reel in quickly and pitch right back to where i got the strike, normally that hit it on the fall or after the second twitch or so then i'll give 'em a second and nail with the hardest hookset I could possibly muster. Not to hijack this thread or anything but what's a really good jig with a good skirt and a good hook that is relatively cheap???

I've recently recieved a really nice lipless crankbait in a trade with a fellow fishermen, i believe it's a shimano but i cannot find it anywhere as i would like to buy more. It has a super realistic bass paint scheme and is 1/2-5/8 oz, i heard they make a smaller one to. Could someone please direct me to a site or give me an official name for this lure?? thank you all in advance, Jason

It is very possible that there could be too much forage. There is this new park that has a 8 acre pond with crappie,bass,perch, and sunfish in it, I went up there for the first time and saw a sign on the way down "no live bait", I just shrugged my shoulders not thinking it would be a problem. I got down to the water's edge and there were hundreds of thousands of shiners (1-2 inches) schooling up by this pier. After 30 minutes of not even getting a nibble on every lure in my bag, i decided to break the rules . I got my little net, dipped it in there once and probly had about 75-100 shiners in one scoop. I got my ultra-lite out (I figured the fish would be small, and I was right), put a size 4 aberdeen hook with a little float, stuck a shiner on it, put it under the dock and wammo had a bass (10 incher :-X) within 10 seconds. I got 40 more bass (all 12 inches and under), 15 huge bluegill, 2 14" crappies, and 4 big perch all in only about 2 hours of fishing. This proves that there can be too much forage to catch them on artificials. You may have to go to live bait to have some success. -Jason
