Whats Your Favorite Spinnerbait?
I use the $ 1.25 s/baits fishing for pike from the shore. Usually loose 4 or 5 a day throwing into weeds/rocks. I like to bump them slowly on the bottom. I free a heck of a lot of them walking from left or right down shore but some flat don't come loose. Will use some of my medium priced spinnerbaits when fishing in the boat.

Help Needed for All-Purpose Spinning Set Up
I have a Powell 703 mef rated 1/8 to 1/2. Also have a Avid 7' mlf. Use the Avid mainly for drop shot and 1/4 and less on t rig plastics. Super sensitive. Powell is more versitle senkos flukes t rigs shaky heads and good on c rigs. Powell nice rod with Dobyns being slightly less tip heavy. Powell rated xf tip and Dobyns fast tip. Never used the Dobyns but to me in the store it seemed the Dobyns tip faster. I would take a close look at an Avid AVS 70mf or the LTBS70mf

Zoom Plastics.....any good?
:-/ Good producers for me are the trick worm brush hog and the Mag II black/red worm.

Falcon Cara T7 vs. St. Croix Tournament vs. Dobyns Champion vs. Other
I compared this rod to the Gloomis IMX 843. Yes if you hold both rods up at the same degree the LTB tip drops about 5 or 6 inches. That being said they are both light as can be and for me they both feel very balanced. I really liked the feel of the tip and flex of the LTB. Could you expand on what applications your using this rod for and how it handles these applications. If im correct your rod is the LTB Teasor right ?

new bass rod med. or med-light
- Help with techniques?
slow roll spinnerbait. Cast it let it drop to desired depth. Start reeling just barely to get the blades moving thump thump thump bumping bottom structure and tipping grass.- How would you fish this scenario?
Shore fishing I use my 7' med/fast spin most of the time. I always start with plastic t rig 6" worms. like to work an area slow. I fan cast out usually working further distances out first. If I see bass chasing shad of course I throw past and into the shad. I like gravel surfaces and dont spend much time on silt surfaces. I will also make casts parallel in the same area. If theres some pretty good ripple on the water I will pick up my baitcaster and if wind is blowing out Ill try spinner baits. If Im fishin solo Ill stay in one area more. If with my wife and shes guardin my poles Ill tend to walk further down the shore working a spinnerbait/wormor whatever. Sometimes if its slow Ill just throw a drop shot rig out there and sit back and have a cold one. For me to anwser you I go with t rigs first. Probably just a confidence thing. Cant tell u how many times when I first get to a spot on first cast or two 8-) things heat up and I feel like its going to be a good day . My main thing working the shore is to work slow and be patient. I have one area I work from shore and in 4/5 hrs catch several bass but when I fish thru that area with my boat pick up few fish. 8-)- Please give a prayer
This young man and family is in my prayers.- Missing anything not using braid?
my set up/applications. Powell 7'mh/xf/revo stx 30# power pro braid w/ 8# Seaguar inviz leader for T rigs jigs C rigs. Powell ml/f /symetre 2500 15# power pro with 6# leader. Lighter jigs t rigs c rigs shaky heads 8-)- Missing anything not using braid?
braid very visible on the surface for line watching. Braid floats more on top with a slower sink rate. Braid much more sensitive and with no stretch you need to set your drag in accord. In semi stained water Im using fluro invisible leader with braid at least 8' for me . 8-)- Drop Shot - Usable from the bank?
good luck from shore both in clear and semi stained water. robo worms and Jr flukes have worked for me. I was surprised at the lifelike action of the fluke on a ds when I tested it in clear water. 7'm/l Avid spin set up and with some wind you can really get good distance out from the shore if thats what you want then work it closer in 8-)- Spinnerbait or Crankbait
Throw some lip less cranks like a r trap for starters. You can work them shallow or deep and you can throw um a mile. Same with spinnerbaits. Same with spinnerbaits. Very versitle shallow or deep 8-)- RoboWorms
MM III T rig it 8-). Very good in stained water.- When will a bass bite again after being caught?
Very interesting thread. Reallly surprised at how quickly a bass would restrike after being handled and released. Since they apparently often seem insensitive to what we would think would be their trauma it makes me wonder if they would even at the slightest be affected by the visibility of a line in the water. Guess thats another debate but thats what popped into my mind. 8-) - Help with techniques?
