I think renting books is OK for those core classes like Government and history but I like to buy and keep the books for my major because you never know when you might need them.

Ok I never understood this. The only reason that football and basket ball have more than a one point system is because there is more than one way to score. I mean think about it this way if in football a TD counted for 2pts and a field goal counted as 1pt and a safety counted as 1pt then most of your scores would look like 8-4 or 10-6. But would that make a 40 yard TD pass any less exciting? Basketball could go on a 1 pt system too and you have scores like 50-54 or 60-56, but does that make a slam dunk any less cool? You don't know what your missing out on if you don't watch playoff hockey Just my $0.02 Capt.O

Dave do you count as a new guy lol Computer science is a good degree my older brother graduated from UNT with his bachelors in Computer science and has a great job now. One thing he did suggest was that you find something in the realms of Computer science that you really like and make it you specialty

Thanks Guys, Sorry I haven't posted I've been busy and paying way to much attention to my "Vendetta vs.Cumulus" which is getting way out of control. Sam that was a great post and I'll take a look at Dr.Jones book if I can. Right now I'm trying to see if I can find a way to make an oil base coffee scent at home. The only thing I have gotten is how the Cumulus is sooo much better then the vendetta. What I want to know is that if it is such a "Great Rod" Then it must be the worst one at its price point. Other $300 rods are rated much higher than it like the GLX or an Avid, which isn't even a $300 rod. All I every said is that if I'm going out and spending that much on a rod I'd expect it to be rated much higher. And Yes I should have know it was a joke ;D This is funny. We are now making excuses for the "top of the line" rod.

Sorry you just brought a deep sea fishing rod to a bass fishing rod war. And of course ugly stick would be rated that high. Its the best in the world for that kind of fishing. But lets see you fish a t-rig on it. The Vendetta and Cumulus are both rods for bass fishing. Capt.O

There are plenty of guys on this forum who pour there own plastics, I'm sure you can find someone who could pour that, its fairly simple. As for me I've already have drawn plans for many baits and am in the process of making them

Gentlemen may I introduce you to the origin of that buzzing nose. It is called a vuvuzelas which translated into American means, A loud and !!@%#& annoying horn meant to be blown to keep Americans away from soccer. Any weightless stickbait T-rigged should work in those kind of conditions. If your look for numbers match the stickbait to the size of the bait fish. I'd also suggest a curl tail grub on a jig head if your friends aren't that into fishing. Just tell them to cast it out and reel it in. I've been fishing a pond that is similar to the conditions you will be fishing in. I've been killing them fishing a Zoom Centipede T-Rig weightless Also pick the time you go fishing when the fish are feeding, Early morning or late afternoon are best Capt.O

I get a kick out of Bassmasters a day on the lake.
