I have to say I also purchase a few LC and I also am disappointed in them. Hooks where fine and all but the overall quality of the bait seems lacking. For the money I expected a lot more. Oh well H2O crankbaits are just fine for me

Ike was fishing fluro in that shot. I've come to believe that braid is best for frogs, top waters, heavy grass on top, and extremely tough cover. Other than that I use fluro and love it. I also use braid for spinning gear but thats always with a fluro leader.Denny Bauer also uses 30lb fluro for most of his flipping a pitching.

Also remember that when Ike was flipping with Daiwa he was using team Daiwa light and tough series. Not banging Daiwa but that series of rod has a very low quality blank. Not a bad rod but not up to par for its price. But low quality blank means its stronger than a steez which as we know has a very high quality blank. I bet if Ike was fishing with a Vendatte he would have not broken it. That is as long as it did not have any problems from being tossed around.

Don't quite at once.I know you want to stop but your better off taking it slow and reducing your intake little by little.This is much better because if you just drop it and then fail you naturally start thinking you can't stop it. Little by little gives you something to build off of. 4. Find something to replace it. I suggest sun flower seeds that nicotine gum is also good but I still think that anything that gives you nicotine is a step in a wrong direction. Is it possible to make a foam lure with a lip? I thought foam lures where more like pre-made wood bodies that had you add the hardware after the fact? How does foam float? does it make good crank baits?

If the waters clear use a wake bait. A slender wake bait will bring back up again no problem. A white buzz bait also works.

OHIO I'm not sure. Doesn't matter though next time I'm getting some of these brands that were suggested here. I will still use spider wire for lighter test line but not for heavy stuff.

The brush hog is one of the best flipping baits out there and the super hog is also great. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Of course not all plastics are created equal. The one you like is always going to be better than the ones you don't. Every soft plastic has its pros and cons. When you buy a pack of senkos the pros are that it is has the best salt formula and is as soft as they come in the market. But are you willing to pay $6-8 for a pack of baits that will last at the most 2 fish if your lucky? You determine which baits fit you and that bait is your best bait.

Find one you like a stick with it. No bait is better than another the amount of confidence you have in it is what makes a difference.

Romo isn't the issue. I mean he is talented enough to take them all the way. Now he is not a leader that is true but other than Payton Manning and Drew Breeze there are really not a lot of leader quarterbacks. If you have one great but its not required to win it all, even though if you have one you tend to have a leg up on the competition Wade Phillips is not a bad coach, but he is not a head coach. Put yourself in his shoes all he has is the title of head coach, all that means is he runs the practice and manges games. Jerry says what goes on in practice and calls the shots in the games. Just for me I fish a smaller fluke because I want to match the bait size. I feel that if the water is clear enough to fish a fluke then I'll pay more attention to the size. Sure you can fish a big fluke for bigger fish but I feel that they are a little more wary of a lure that doesn't make the hatch in clear water I'll fish the a larger worm to catch big fish but not in gin clear water.

Clary as a cowboy fan I feel your pain but lets face the facts...... We can be just as snobbish as a Yankee fan or a Red Wing fan and say we deserve to win just because we are the COWBOYS. Kelly Jordan snapped a Boyd Duckett rod in WGFS. He hooked a huge fish and it snapped like a twig. I think we for get that higher quality blanks are not a strong as low quality blanks. If all you care about is durability then buy an Ugly Stick.
