I real think that a rod does not have a lot to do with sensitivity. I believe that line plays the biggest role when it comes to feeling bites. I voted spinning not because its more sensitive but because they tend to be faster then casting rods so I think your more likely to "feel" the bite because the rod tip will bend easier. In the end though its the line that counts

Sorry I think I need to clear somethings up. My friend is 21 and when I said working on his basics I meant working on a associates degree. He would be considered a junior if he transfered to any 4 year college. He and I start our freshman year together at the same community college. I just transfered before he did. Sorry I didn't mean to make it sound like he was behind because he's not.

Ok guys here is the low down. I've got a good friend that wants to be an Air Force fighter pilot more than anything else in the world. His thing is he just doesn't know where to start. He is in his 20s still going to a community college getting his basics done.He knows that its next to impossible now but he is willing to try for it. I was just wondering if any of you guys who are pilots have any suggestion?Any good ideas about where he should start? Start of fall I'm fishing lipless crankbaits and flat side cranbaits. I'll also fish a spinner bait and swim jigs. Keep it moving

If anyone is looking for schools in a small town then I'd suggest the University of North Texas in Denton. Cheaper than most schools. There is some world class bass fishing in Lewisville and Ray Roberts. Then again you can always stop by Lake Grapevine or Hubared.Not to mention you can always take a weekend trip to Fork Its rated as the best music program in the country. The business program is getting a big make over, including a new 7 million dollar state of the art building . All its arts programs are also great Other than football all our other sports programs are up there with the best. Including bass fishing. There is my shameless plug for my school
