  1. Yup..... That'll do it!
  2. I run a GPS/Sonar combo for a couple of reasons. Number one was the price of 2 units...... Then space on my console..... I like having both in one. I typically have the GPS map on and have the sonar features overlayed on it. The best part is having the ability to purchase or download a lake map.
  3. Yup, it was Harris.

    Holy Chamoly!.... That is big!
  5. .... poor little guy.
  6. Just a reminder that October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Do all you can for the prevention and THINK PINK when making purchases!
  7. Great story! I bet that trip was awesome! That's something I could only dream of.
  8. Great job man.... I hope she catches you many fish!
  9. Great story.... On the bright side, you got to spend the day with your dad!
  10. That does look like a decent day!
  11. Nice fishing.... I don't think I should've licked that stamp before looking at the last pic.
  12. It's a shame it has to be done.... But it's an evil necessity.
  13. Here's a website that you can purchase the tags from and also enter information to track them. http://www.fishtagger.com/
  14. Very nice pictures! I have so many that involve fishing and the outdoors that it would be hard to pick one..... That is if I didn't have the one of my late father holding two monster bluefish at the Jersey shore!
  15. Use stainless steel screws or nuts and bolts. If you go the nuts & bolts route make sure you get nylon nuts so there is less chance of them backing off.
  16. Dems some purty southern gals!
  17. Scientifically, I can't make a determination. For me it's about CONFIDENCE. Not only in scents, but also in the actuall lures that you are using. Do I use scents..... Yup, I'll dap some Mega Strike on plastics, cranks, jigs, and spinnerbait skirts..... Does it work.... Absolutely, it hooked me!
  18. You were fishing with 2 rods at the same time? Two things I try to always do.... Set the hook like it's the last fish I'll ever catch and expect to catch a fish on every cast!..... Although, I get caught sleeping every now and again.
  19. Glad to see you helping out.... That's one big perch!.... Where in PA is that?

  21. I've never really thought about it when fishing at night.... But then again, I don't think about it when fishing during the day. It's just second nature now. If you're concerned about picking out a backlash or hitting the shore, outfit your boat with deck lights and/or blacklights.
  22. Very cool.... I like the topo option.
  23. I chose green... Well.... because my boat is green.... LOL. All of the LED colors will not attract bugs/insects like conventional lighting. I would not recommend using rope lights. These units are waterproof and specifically designed to be placed in a boating enviornment.
  24. Actually, no. The angle that my lids open to directs the light out and down.
