It's not necessary to fill them. If you're lucky they will match up. If you need to there are a bunch of fill bonders you can use.

I've always carried a neoprene facemask because it's easily storable, comfortable and warm. They sell a full face model too. Check out www.ironhorsehelmets.com. They sell one's that are printed with faces and the such.

I know first hand that it's not fun having your boat stuck and thinking you'll never get it out. Once on the Delaware River, which has a tidal flucuation of 8', yes eight feet! I found myself stuck in the back of a creek because the tide moved out and I was distracted by a great fishing day. Took almost 4 hours to get enough water to let me out! All the while the fishing turned off!

I currently use the XTools scale and have had no problems with it. Can you tell me a little about this Evolution scale you posted?
