Not a true XH rod. It is stouter than a Heavy action but I wouldn't call it an extra heavy rod, it is in between heavy and extra heavy. Great for jigs, heavy cover, and braid.

I hear they do well in Florida.

Fantastic show, I love Curb your Enthusiasm and always sunny but this is quickly becoming my favorite! Soo many good lines in it. ;D

The Tommy Biffle model should work well. Seems that the Hackney model has a lighter action. The 7'6'' Heavy is standard in flipping sticks, if your dad gets more into flipping then maybe a longer stiffer rod would be in order, like the 7'9'' Xh carrot stick.

Not true I have read a lot of Fish Chris' non-trip posts here and many of them do not fit in any one place, if any! I would think he'd win but I do not know what he would do with a bag of trick sticks

Haha what a classic. The new video games are nowhere near as tough as the originals. I do not think any game is tougher than Ghosts 'n Goblins for the NES .
