Sweet Beaver/ Rodent Color In Moderately Clear Water
Black with red flake. It's hard to beat. Although fried watermelon I like on sunny days.

Your Favorite Shaky Head Jig
http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/Zenith-Shake-Head-436.htm These are about the only shakeyhead(s) I use. They are great in cover, stand the bait up well, and are quite durable. 3/16 and 1/4 are my preferred weights. One of my favorite baits to fish on this head In a R.I. smallie beaver. As Rolo mentioned above, the buoyancy of the bait Is a real key to the bait standing upright.

What's The Best Sweet Beaver Setup?
A smallie beaver(red/black, houdini, fried watermelon, and white) is deadly on a shakeyhead. As for the sweet beaver I like the same colors and in light cover I go with the lighest weight possible and In heavey cover I go with a 1/4-3/8. I fiash It on a mh rod, 7-1 reel, and 15 lb. Berkley Big Game.

Thanksgiving Feast!
What we're having: Turkey, ham, and all the fix'ins. What I want and what I grew up eating at Thanksgiving: roasted oysters, fried cornbread, grits, greenbeans, sweet tea.
