I fish them a lot. I prefer a 2/0 gamakatsu round bend hook with the lightest weight possible. I usually go with a 1/8 sinker. I like the darker colors such as black and red/shad but there are days that watermelon Is hard to beat. That being said don't get too hung up on color. Pick a few and fish them. The greatest thing about a tx rig Is you can fish It anywhere. If you choose to throw deeper than 8 feet I would go with a heavier sinker.

If It were me I would throw a jig and fish It SLOW. When you think you're slow enough, slow down a little more.
