  6. Have to go with the spinnerbait myself, but im trying. Have caught loads of fish on farm ponds with them but whenever i go to the lake I lose my patience with them and switch to a swim bait of some type.
  7. Ok guys...i tried and tried and tried to stay away from the Senko craze, but i was at Dicks last weekend and the had some which were cheaper than what i had seen online. So i picked up a bag of 4in Black and tried them on the lake that next day. Man, these lures work. Prior to that afternoon, i had been on a slump at this lake. Had'nt caught anything but crappie for the last three weeks. It wasnt 5 min that they started hitting the Senko. I was d**n near amazed. Thought id share my experience....Great lure..im buying three more bags tonight.
  8. Throw em a BLACK 4in Senko T-Rigged, weightless. The black will stick out more in the dirty water, Bass will have an easier time seeing it. I think....Lure Gurus, set me straight if thats not right.
  9. While it sounds like a good idea, unfortunately, the end of my dock is in about 6 feet of water. Which leaves about three feet of water to tie a friends boat onto. I was thinking about dropping a few small bushes on each side though.
  10. I've used a variation of the work tactic before. I would take whatever nightcrawlers i had leftover from a night of fishing and thrown th whole lot in before i went to bed. Then id through a green Buzzbait as soon as i woke up in the morning. Seemed to me it worked. The feeder is something i think ill look into. What about ways to attract baitsish?
  11. I couldnt have put it better myself. ;D
  12. Im not the most experienced Smallie fisherman, but here in KY, the creek Smallmouth always seem to go for a Rooster Tail in white.
  13. Whats up Guys, (and gals). When i was younger i had a buddy whos uncle always baited his dock with dried corn tied to rods in the water. Said it brought in more Cats. My question is this: Is there anything i can do with muy dock that will attract more fish. I know all about submerging cover, but wasnt sure if anyone used anything else. Im boatless at the moment, and truly enjoy Dock Fishing with friends into the wee hours of the morning. Anything you got will help...as always..Its appreciated.
  14. Plastic Zoom Worm in Red Shad color. Absolute favorite pond fishing lure. Also look for Sassy Shads. Always used the white ones in my pond...bass would kill 'em.
