depends some tournys(most I fish) give you control of the boat half the day. if that is the case heck yes, it voice evey consern I have and if he does not listen you make it very clear you are gonna use your half the day. it will make some mad, some dont care but its the rules.

Fixed it for ya. U are right about the nitro only the z 9s are top of the line. But the evinrude thing no mercury dominates all Merc's are good as long as its not a XR6(which is what im stuck wit right now) for that reason I would go with(and like to have) either and evenrude or yamaha.

I have read some negative comments on ED's. A lot of them. IDK, my granddad has one and we have had very fe issues except for a couple overheatings, but I think those were user issues.

sante fe is horrible. here is the story of last weekends extreme on orange. Ran . Division on Orange sunday. Had 15 boats. Had waviers because of slot limit but they were only allowed to bring 2 fish 22 or over to scale. 5 fish limit min 14. Winning weight was 34.05. Said they had to throw back 2 or 3 that were too long. 2nd was 30.00 with a 10.07. 3rd was 28.55 before penalty for 4 dead fish, one was 10.14. Official weight was 26.55. He tried his best to keep them alive but live wells in his gambler acted up. 6th place was 22.28 with the big fish of tx at 10.82. There were 3 over ten and at least 4 or 5 over 9 weighed in. 10 out of 15 boats weighed in a limit. I personally didnt fish tx but did put boat in water and was off by 8:30. in the two hours i did fish caught 2 eight pound mud fish and one bass that was 17 1/2 inches. one mud had dh crosswise in his mouth and only the line tie was showing. the other had a buzzbait that was about 9 inches long all the way down his gullet. Did get it back but not the dh. As everyone knows Orange is on fire right now. Saw Peter T there and was told Terry Scroggins and Bernie Schultz(sp)were out there also. Seems everyone wants in on the action. As long as they dont take them out or kill them guess its ok. but those bass have to have seem most everything by now. That parking lot is full all week anymore.

we have hooked water turkeys, dont play with them they have razor sharp beak. i watched it go straight through a towel and then i figured i would let it keep my jerkbait.

it is insane right now. there was a 53 pound bag there last week. its taking over 30 to win most tournys in orange and lockloosa(most of them go throught he creek). the water is dropping a little but muy grandad went yesterday and never left the canal where the boat ramp is and had 20 pounds and no he was not flipping although most people are.

I was there as a scout 5 years ago, i wish I could be there this year, it just did not happen.

one little correction, if KVD wins skeet must finish 2nd to win AOY. Today should be interesting.

i have a tr 186 with a 150 and it rides just fine. nice and dry unless you get into some really messy stuff.

well, I was fishing a shore tourny, during spawning season. I knew where a big fish was on a bed. I caught the buck, then the female(7.1#'s), and then caught the female again, The the buck agian. I was hoping she would bite agian cause all my other fish had left but she did not and 16.5 and 4 fish was enough to win and big fish. so yes I have twice in a day(really about 4 cast.).

I got bad news for all of them, Russ lane has them where he wants them when the points came out, no one can possibly beat him even skeet if he is able to win next week.

When im at school I have to keep my boat in a storage facility about 10 mins from my school, it is covered and has electric. Its a little pricey but not too bad. I have never had any problems, it is frustating not having it on site but both the school and the appartments im living in this year laughed when I asked. so you gotta do what you gotta do.
