Baby Splatter Shad slim cranks!!!
Thanks, I used createx opaque yellow with transparent dark brown to get the "baby poop/mustard color" then splattered some black and lime pearl on it! Btw those clamps are awesome, I am gonna go check out radio shack for alligator clips, bc I have a great Idea for a holder. If it works I will post a how to for making said holder!

Thinking About Starting
I just started a few weeks ago, DO NOT GO CHEAP, I say this bc its what I did, I took everything back I bought and got an Iwata eclipse gun and havnt looked back since. I will be getting another Iwata soon for "High definition" lines. I will also be getting a gun after that for lacquer paints. My only regret is not getting a gravity feed gun, but I will live with that and what I have now is great! I have got most of my stuff from hobby lobby since its 10 minutes from my house. With that said, I heard of TCPglobal.com, chicagoairbrushsupply.com, wasco aka taxidermy.com!

Green Crawfish (LJ Speed Trap)
Not at all....my airbrushes are an Iwata HP-SB (.2mm) and an Iwata Revolution CR (.5mm). Paint is all House of Kolor acrylic urethanes. The clear I'm *testing* is Matrix MS-42 automotive urethane. Its obvious that you didnt just pick up an airbrush yesterday, Did you do custom work or anything a lon those lines before? I dont mean to seem nosey, but you have some serious skills and was just wondering how you would go about getting that good. I am gonna take classes, but I am sure experience is a huge factor!

More Big Paints!!!!
Citrus, I used Pearl Green/lime/copper/gold Bluegill, I used four differents greens/gold/copper/violet/pumpkin brown/blues/orange. This one took a lot of layers and I am not sure if its a perfect bluegill, but take 1 didnt turn out aweful, I will do some more and see what I can come up with!

Project Big Sexy!
This is my first "big" project! I call it "Big Sexy: The Giant Killer" My friend lathed some wood down and wanted a "sexy shad" Musky/big bass Bait! Here are some pics of this almost 8'' Beast! I am not sure yet if this will be jointed! I plan on adding the lip to make it a wake or like 1-2 ft diver! If anybody is interested after I put some field testing let me know, I am sure it could double as a musky bait!

Took back the paasche got an Iwata!
Night and day difference for me, the iwata seemed more newbie friendly while using it! Here are my first to paints! On a side note, It came with a .5mm tip, If I buy the .35mm tip, do I need the cap/needle and the tip correct? Also can I get a smaller tip than the .35mm say a .2mm for some really fine detail work! This is the gun I got! http://www.iwata-medea.com/index.php/products/hp_bcs/

Single action vs dual action!?!?!?
As a gift I just got a Paasche dual action paint brush. I have used a paasche single action b4 and I feel that it has more controll. I was using createx today for the first time, and I am having a hard time doing fine detail such as lines, stripes, dots, and meshing! What are the pros/cons of a dual action vs a single action? Also on the single action I used laquer paint!

First time touching an airbrush!
This section has inspired me to do some repaints and try some things on my own on some crank blanks! Well yesterday and today I spent some time getting used to mixing paints and painting some cranks here is my first patters! This is my first attempt at sexy shad, I will add the metallic flakes during the epoxy process! I dont know this color, its a black base coat. Green scale coat and olive stripes! This is a charteuese with black back, and black shad spots. I dont know why the chartruese didnt show up in the pic! I call this bugs in the lemonade... Chartuese base with black specks shot on it! This one I dont know what to call the pattern, seems like some kind of sunfish type! Some more natural color patterns, still have to name them These are my 1st attempt at a baby bass pattern. I know they arent great, but this is the first time I have ever touched an airbrush! I have a few more chartuese black back patterns, and I will be working on some other stuff! Some craw and more bluegill stuff!
