  6. YOU DA MAN!!!!!!!! Thanks! I just found this http://www.amazon.com/Plano-Molding-974-002-StowAway-Organizer/dp/B000CRHD6K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=hi&qid=1241372456&sr=8-1
  7. I've got an old black one from Cabelas that has seen better days, looking to either replace it or add a couple more. I've Googled the crap out of it as well. Hoping someone will chime in here. I'll be sure let ya know if I find something.
  8. I'm aware that the3700 is still available. What I'm looking for is something to organize them. Either in the boat as deviders or something that I can take in and out. I guess the easiest way to discribe it is you can place 7 fully loaded 3700's in it and lift them all at one time, does that make sense?
  9. Quite awhile back I purchased this black tray type thing that holds 7 Plano 3700 tackle box's and now I cant find them anymore. Does anyone know if anything like this is still available? The storage compartments in the 210 are huge so I'd like to get them organized. Thanks all! bassnman mike
  10. Had a BLAST!! Thanks for asking. I ended up taking my nephew. I got a couple PM's late Thursday night but didnt see them until Friday eve, sorry guy, I'll llet ya know when I'm available again. Anyhow, when I left town it was windy so I'm thinking it would be holwing at the lake but after we got over Walker Pass the wind stopped. We only caught 4 bass but the day was more about checking out the new boat. I thought my 201 rode nice but this 210 It rode like a dream. I had her up to 72 as per the GPS and she still had more, just have to continue to learn the jack plate. If it were not for the fact that we have 2 people on travel this coming week I'd be taking days off, oh well, there's always next weekend.
  11. I would have asked him very nicely to move it to one side so I could launch. If I got no response then I would have carefully moved it myself. If he would have got mouthy with me I would have taken it to the next level.
  12. Took her out today, all I can say is WOW! I thought my 201 was smooth! GPS'd at 74. I told my wife that I now have a mistress, HA! Here's a couple pics.
  13. Very nice. The kids look happy also. Enjoy
  14. As most of you know by now I'll be picking up my new boat tomorrow. I'll be taking it out on Lake Isabella on Friday May 1 and my fishing buddy wont be able to make it so I'll have an open back seat if someone wants to come along. I do have a few stipulations. First off I dont drink so if your ideal of fishing is getting hammered dont bother. Secondly, I practice catch and release of ALL bass If we happen to get into some crappie, thats a different story. Finally, if you wont respect my boat, not be a slob or spit chew down the side dont bother The first person to PM or email me that can live with the rules listed above can come along for a great free day of fishing. BTW, I've been fishing Isabella since the very early 80's

  16. Actually, the parts of the Kern that I've fished were in the canyon between Bake and Lake Isabella. I dont know about the actual Bakersfield area. I'm sure there are places there. Contact Bobs Bait Bucket in Bake, I'm sure they would be able to help you out.
  17. Glad to hear your OK. Good thing you had a first aid kit. I carry one as well. In addittion to the basic stuff I also carry 3M Steri-Strips, basically instant stitches and the little disposable Neosporin packets
  18. The bass in the Kern River tend to be smaller for the most part. Prior be becoming a boater I did alright throwing smaller crankbaits, spinnerbaits and plastics.
  19. I've fished Lake Isabella since the very early 80's. Its my favorite lake. The lake is loaded with very big bass! Email or PM me, We can hook up and I'll take ya out on the water. bassnman mike
  20. Welcome to BR from another Californian. I live over in Ridgecrest myself. Lake Isabella is the nearest body of water to me, just as it is for you. Maybe we can meet up at the lake sometime and I'll take ya out in my new Champion 210 Elite SCX. Lolts of very big bass there. PM or email me when you get out here.
