  1. I LOVE my ChampioN 210 Elite! IMHO, nothing better
  2. Virtual memory is the space your computer uses when it's short of RAM Random Access Memory, which is the memory used when running programs. You need to increase the virtual memory size. To do this you first need to determine how much RAM you have. Right click my computer go to properties and take note of the physical RAM. Click the Advanced tab, and then in the Performance area click Settings. Click the Advanced tab, and then in the Virtual memory area click Change. Change the Initial Size and Maximum size text boxes to 1.5 times the physical RAM you have. Click Set.. Click OK a few times until the system reboots. If that does not solve your problem then you must add more RAM. Also, it NEVER hurts to Tune Up your system, run scan disk first then defrag the system yes it will take awhile especially if it has not been done in awhile
  3. ALL of mine came the same way. Pop the cover off and service it with grease and oil. It will make a difference.
  4. Personally I dont have any experience with the wireless. As to the 54, it really depends on what kind and size of boat you have. I have the MG Tour 109 but then again I've got a big 210 Elite.

  16. I'm SURE Cart didnt mean any disrespect by his comments, have you seen what he did to the front deck of his older Champion? The thing looks brand spanking new and looks GREAT! Anyhow, very nice looking boat. I remember fishing a Pro Am with Don Iovino years back in a boat just like yours, except he had installed an extra gas tank which gave more deck space but alot less leg room while running, he called it his Lake Mead Special. Did it come with electronics? Is it your first boat? If so, the best advice I can give you take it out on the water, get to know it before you take on big water asnd the best tip, REMEMBER YOUR DRAIN PLUG! Enjoy your new to you boat! Mike
  17. Hmm, life was alot simpler then, not as many expensive choices to choose from...... I remember using a Lowrance flasher back in the day, kinda a pain but it was effective so I guess I wouldnt need my current day electronics. then again I learned to fish by observing the lay of the land and my depth finder was a 1 ounce jig, HA! A Loomis rod would be nice but not "needed". As to the modern day reels, I've always been an Abu man and still have several "Round" reels that I still use so that wouldnt be needed. Attractant, I do like the modern day stuff, Smelly Jelly, Hot Sauce and recently started using Mega Strike but I still love and use Berkley Strike so that would be good enough. I sure wish they still made that stuff, my supply is running low. I guess my choice would have to be a supply of X-Point hooks followed by some Fluorocarbon line. Hows that for back to basics? Mike
  18. Thanks for the replies. Someone mentioned a stabilizer that is made by a company called rmr industries called cam lock, I've searched and cant find it online. Has anyone heard of it? ***Update*** Its called a RMC Trol~Lok Trolling Motor Mount Looks pretty cool
  19. Come on, someone's gotta know something. Are they just that unpopular or did I upset everyone here and no one wants to share?
  20. I've got a couple questions about the RAM® Trolling Motor Stabilizer. First off, I've got a 2008 Champion 210 Elite with a 36 volt 109 lb thrust Motor Guide Tour Edition. Now my questions. I'm seeing 2 different sizes of the RAM® Trolling Motor Stabilizer, which one do I want? Next, Does anyone here have one and are they any good? Any issues I should be aware of, ie. do they get in the way of the rod straps, are they junk, do they screw into the deck, etc? Thanks all Mike
  21. I think every red blooded guy had her poster. RIP Farrah, you will be missed
  22. Sorry I didnt see this post earlier. First off, the partitioning of the drives has nothing to do with the over heating issues. Is your system freezing up from over heating? It sounds to me like your answers have been provided above. Air flow or lack of, is one of the biggest causes of overheating issues. Like has been suggested if your computer is enclosed in a desk, open the area up some to allow more air flow. Also be sure your fans are working together instead of against each other. Fans are directional, they flow air one way. Is it possible that you have both of them pushing air into the CPU instead of one pushing air in and one pushing air out? Air flow is the key. Other suggestions would include clean the heat sink, I would also suggest removing your heat sink and check to be sure you have some Thermal Grease between it and the processor. Other than that and what has already been mentioned I might consider just replacing the fans, its a cheap and easy and can save your drives. If you have anymore questions please feel free to ask. I'll keep an eye on this thread

  25. Tru-Turn hooks are made by the TTI-Blakemore Fishing Group, which began life as Tru-Turn Inc back in 1959. For those who dont know, TTI-Blakemore Fishing Group is home of Tru-Turn, Daiichi, Xpoint, Mr. Crappie, Team Catfish and Standout hook brands, plus Blakemore Lure, home of the Roadrunner Lure. As you can see, they are in very good company
