For spinning reels I recently discovered Sunline FC Biwako Guide Special. This line is designed specifically for spinning reels so its considerably more limp than almost all Flurocarbon lines. While it is not cheap, IMHO, nothing currently available is better. BassnMan Mike

My most memorable prank was not one that I did but was done to me. Back in my younger days a group of us were camping at Lake Isabella. After a hard night of drinking I woke up early and started to do some fishing and caught a couple nice trout so I put them on a stringer. My girl friend at the time wanted to run into town to pickup some eggs and bacon for breakfast and everyone else agreed so her and I got into the truck and headed into town as my buddies got the fire going. We got back and started to prepare breakfast and I figured I'd cook the 2 trout that I had caught earlier. I walk down to the water, pull out the stringer and to my surprise all that was left was the heads and complete skeletons, my buddies were rolling! They had cooked and ate them while we were in town. For me its home made beef jerky, corn nuts and Power Ade Zero's, unless I'm taking my nephew, then I take along some chicken or sandwiches.

The Sluggo is a killer bait that is often over looked. Weightless Texas Rigged, twitch, twitch, pause.

I've got 1 of each and love them. Both of them are actually pretty small. With the 1000 I like to split shot with 4 pound fluorocarbon. I also use it for crappie fishing. The 2500 has 6 pound fluorocarbon for drop shotting. BassnMan Mike
