  1. Again, make sure to let us know how it works. I might want to try that out.
  2. I saw that episode, but I have never even thought about going down there to fish! Might have to give it a shot. Do you think it would be safe for me in a kayak?
  3. But they always have their salt!
  4. Here comes a NBA Superteam! Hopefully they will be able to shut Kobe Bryant up and get him off of his high horse.
  5. Who's Lee-Bren? ;D The new talk is that he is going to Miami to join what seems to be a "superteam". But I don't see him leaving Cleveland.
  6. I'm looking for new water to fish in Middle Tn. Preferably within 30-45 minutes from Franklin. Needs to be kayak accessible. Anyone have any ideas?
  7. Anyone tried Suffix Deep Crankin line? Does it really help or is it all hype?
  8. If you are trying bigger lures without much success at all, then I would go your typical creek lures that will always help you land a few fish (Rooster Tail, Rebel Crawfish, etc.)
  9. I have the 6'6" M. Works great paired with my Citica!
  10. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1268449182 I'm not sure if that will help you with exactly what you are looking for or not, but it is a decent little technique.
  11. Thanks for the suggestions. If I went with a whole new rod and reel, what would be a good technique to use with my current setup?
  12. What is the trade up program? Apparently this is something that I have missed, but am rethinking my priorities.Hahahahaha
  13. Coke, couple bottles of water, sunflower seeds (always), packs of crackers or cheez-its.
  14. Keep skipping them under the docks. Especially in these hot summer days when bass are looking for shade.
  15. How do you have your camera rigged up in your kayak? I wouldn't mind doing something like that in mine.
  16. Well, I was able to clean up the mess at Dick's clearance section pretty well tonight.
  17. Yep. I've probably caught more fish on a Zoom product than any other company.
  18. i like 6:1 for small to mid size cranks. 7:1 is fine for shallow/small cranks, IMO. I was wondering, because I have heard folks say that you need a 5:1?
  19. Well, I got that rod as a general baitcaster to use, didn't know that it would end up being my crankbait rod until now. Guess I should look for another technique specific setup, as I told myself last week that I was going to get another one.
  20. Just starting out: U-Tail Worms or Finesse Worms (Zoom, Powerworms, etc.) Appropriate Size Hooks and Weights 1/4 oz Jigs Silver with Blue Back Rat-L-Trap 3 1/2" Tubes And at least one crank for each level of the water column.
  21. Well, their done now.
  22. For shallow cranks, the vendetta would do ok. For deeper baits, a longer, more powerful rod would do you good. I personally use a 6'10" MH Carrot Stix Gold with a Sol for anything under 10'. After that I go to my 7'MH Lucky Craft with a Curado 200e5. So should I be looking to just put a slower reel on it, and find another technique specific rod to pair my Citica with?
  23. Do I want the Curado 200E7 or the 200E5? I thought I would need to slower gear ratio?
