Restocking the tacklebox/Show it off.
It will help me to get through another hour or so of cabin fever.

Restocking the tacklebox/Show it off.
I haven't seen one of these threads in a while, and thought that it would be a good time for one since it is freezing pretty much everywhere, and we are all reloading the tackleboxes for the coming year. So, show off the gear you have purchased this year/slash all of your gear. P.S. everyone loves seeing pictures of large amounts of tackle.

Best Producing Smallie Plastic?
A 5" grub will always catch good numbers, but for me it is definitely Zoom Lizards, both 4" and 6"

upcoming NFL games!!!
Good predictions. However, I thought that the Colts, and the Saints were going to be the two top dogs going into the playoffs, and we saw how that turned out.

Rage Tail?
I don't believe that they all are, but all of the ones that I have owned have been.

Senko: Is it Evil?
I have had success with the Senko, but I've never contracted this addiction. I feel like I normally have more confidence in Powerworms.

Which plastics do you burn through the most?
Powerworms and Zoom Lizards

Crazy Rigs for Rage tails
That sounds killer. I'm going to have to give it a shot, I have never thought of doing this.

Spawning Bass
I think he's right on the money. Some kind of bluegill imitator that will drive the bass crazy in to striking. x2. I like to also have a worm or lizard rigged up on another rod when doing this. If you get a follow and/or short strike quickly grab the other rod and throw the lure back into the bed before the bass has time to return. The threat that they will see when they get back of a worm or lizard in their bed will throw them into an all time high state of PO'ed which should lead to the inevitable strike.

Now what do I do?
Well I've spent my Sunday afternoon looking through about 15 various fishing magazines. It really didn't help the cabin fever, just made me want to go fish even more.

Are Flukes the best??
I've had quite a bit of success with the fluke. I haven't really "expanded" my soft jerkbaits, because these have produced at a fairly steady rate for me. Is everyone throwing the fluke on a baitcaster or spinning setup?

Topwater Reccomendations?
Beat me to it!

I hope that price includes a full stringer of 6lbers.

True Grit. (No spoilers!)
It's great! Jeff Bridges did a fantastic job!

Seasons are changing...
Is there any sort of exact temperature where the bass move into the shallows and start feeding more before the spawn? If so, what?

H20 Xpress and Lucky Craft crankbaits same blank molds?
I'm almost certain that they aren't from the same mold, but the H2Os are definitely some great lures. I feel sorry for you guys who don't have an Academy close by.

New baits & Techniques you want to try in 2011
Last year I made it "the year of the crankbait" for myself. However, I wasn't quite able to stay with this trend, as my lack of confidence would shortly send me towards another bait. This year I'm hoping to really improve all aspects of my fishing, mostly finding structure and where fish are in general. There aren't any particular new lures that I've seen that are really jumping out at me, however, I'm sure the bait monkey will change that as the year goes on.

John Elway To Assume Command
But the real question is; when are they moving Tebow to tight end? ;D

Bass Resource and School Relation ?
working at the carwash is a joke Hahahahahaha. I agree with that. But I can't deny that I may be checking out facebook or a forum during lunch or some other time.

New Pitchin rod
x2 on both of Abu Garcia's new rods. Also, if you can throw another $30 up for the rod, then the Shimano Crucial Flipping Stick can be had for $179 new, and you could probably find a used one in great shape for cheaper.

6.4:1 or 7.0:1
The 6.4:1 will serve you well as a basic crankbait reel. However, like stated above, if you want to get serious about deep cranking you might want to go to a slower gear ratio. With the added torque, it will make the deep running bait easier to get down to it's running depth, and easier to keep it down there.

my minimalist light tackle box.
That's about what my little box that I can stick in my back pocket and take to the creek consists of. But I might throw in some Rooster Tails, Rebel Crawfish, or other small, shallow running, cranks.
