Punk fans,
not too bad, I liked the instrumental parts of the song, but I'm not too impressed by the singer. the guitar riff/solo in the middle is pretty sick

Chevy Colorado
I'm a die hard chevy man, drive a '99 Z71 1500 silverado, but it is my opinion that vehicles like the colorado are the reason chevy is now bankrupt, when I was in the market for a new truck in'04, it was between a nissan frontier desert runner, and a colorado, and the Nissan won hands down in every comparison (I wound up buying the nissan, and LOVING that truck, until I wrecked it in '07)... the colorados are just junk IMHO and something to be stayed away from! they just don't make them like they used to!!!

A Feel Good Yankees Story
I assume you haven't met a Philadelphia Fan (of any team). They set the obnoxious bar pretty high. actually, My best friend is from Philly, and she can be obnoxious, but it isn't insult you, treat others with disrespect obnoxious, its a I support and love my team obnoxious, and there's nothing wrong with that.

A Feel Good Yankees Story
that is a great story, and even being a yankee hater, I have no issues with girardi, or most of the players... just the organization, and the fans. most seem to be really obnoxious.

Took My Dad Fishing for Salmon
absolutely awesome story, sometimes its more rewarding to help someone else (like your father) create a great memory, than it is to catch them all yourself.

Caught a Bass this morning and a duck flying over the water.
I don't, on slow days thats how i practice my casting accuracy. of course, my gear is about 1/4 the price of his steez combo, but i wouldn't let a duck fly off with mine either.

WORLD SERIES
if the players are able to move their entire body in the hitting motion, and drive the ball where they want, especially as well as Aroid does, then he should have the ability to get out of the way. What I've noticed about MLB players recently is that instead of stepping back anymore, they turn to toward the umps so they let it hit their backs, instead of getting out of its way. it happens across MLB, so I'm not jsut picking on Aroid, but I did notice it with the times he got hit. and when i played (up to 16 y/o) there were some pitchers who threw the equivalent on the smaller fields, and some hard throwers once I moved up to the big fields...not to mention, those pitchers had much much less control than the professional pitchers do.

Full Moon
I'm sorry Glenn, I'll go to my corner ;D

WORLD SERIES
I don't think Aroid did anything any of the times he were hit to get out fo the way of the ball, whether or not intentional... I know when I played ball, if a ball was thrown at me, i got out fo the way of it...I'd have rather gotten a hit, then walked HBP... just the way I saw it.

Funeral buisness
Yet you still work there? Quit, find a new job, and never patronize the store again. Problem solved. I tell ya what,I'll send you my resume, and you can search Palm bay Florida for job openings that I qualify for... because I've been looking for a year, and walmart is the ONLY job I've been able to find. School is on the horizon, and believe me, when I find another job I'll be taking it, but for now, walmart is it. I don't work there because I want to, I work there because it is the only job I could find, and something had to pay the bills, at least some of them. seriously, you just hit a nerve, I hate every day I have to go to that place, i hate every time i run into someone I know there and they give me the "oh, you work here?" look. I hate going form a solid $35k a year job to a $10k a year job. its not as easy as quit and find a new job.

Funeral buisness
wal-mart is the embodiment, and downfall of capitalism. the current form of wal-mart is NOT what Sam Walton envisioned. instead exactly the opposite... his idea was an american company, that sold american goods at a cheap price, while providing good jobs... with most non food items made in Asia, and more than half of the employees living below the poverty level...they aren't old sam's company anymore. They purposely do not hire full time so they can limit the amount of benefits payed out, they strong arm suppliers into dropping prices so they can keep their prices lower than anyone else,a nd they have no regard for the personal needs of the employees...they do not see employees as people, but rather servants... a full time employee is expected to be open 24/7 365 to work whenever scheduled (open availability) and if a part time employee isn't available they will dock hours instead of working around the part timers schedule. wal-mart has more beuracracy than the government, and probably more influence over the day to day of this country. I don't just say this stuff as an outsider or patron, but an employee. I see the way they operate, I know the way they work. I hate the place. at Wal-mart, 8:40/hr is a "higher" pay rate... 32 hours is still part time (remember the benefits aspect of this) and forget if you have school/church/family obligations, if you are scheduled to work on a specific day at a specific time... you BETTER do it if you value your job. But you know, "you should feel lucky you have a job" Walmart - Make less, live worse

Catfishing in my back yard.
late one night I was carrying in my gear to get rigged up for the next morning of fishing, I had been using it for saltwater fishing, so mos of the lures needed changing, well, seven rods in my grasp, and an okeechobee fats bag over my shoulder, and when I opened the door, my rottweiler rushed me in anticipation of me being home. before I could stop him, he had a nice big treble hook for a big salt water bomber implanted in his shoulder (thank god it wasn't anywhere worse) he freaked, waking eeryone n the house. and a late night run to th 24hour emergency vet was in order... man what a night. now if he sees me with poles in my hand, he goes the other way!

....and she's not even blonde.
Wow I don't think I have ever had an employ communicate with me in my local walmart... until I got to the checkout. your walmart personnel are doing a terrible job at the "10 foot rule" then, meaning every associate is supposed to make eye contact and ask if you need help if they are within 10 feet of you. even I am required to, and I am not a sales associate, but rather an automotive technician. so, someone is dropping the ball there. and yes, the associates in sporting goods don't know jack about the products in their departments, but they aren't given formal training about anything they sell, just about the store. can't blame them for being assigned to that department.

Florida Cold-front
roger, I hope to run into you one day fishing the kissimmee chain, because if I do, I'll know I'm fishing in the right places...I learn alot from your posts, being another florida bass fisherman, sometimes what guys from other states say doesn't always apply, but I know if you're chiming in, its something I can take to the bank.
