  1. glenn...thanks...for some reason the 1st time i watched it my phone froze and it skipped that part (of course) i'll try that when i get home tonight. i hope it is as easy as the wire weed guard. thanks.. i'm heading to Erie for a 2 day tourney and have a feeling i need to learn how to rig them.. i do have the owner phantom tube weight also. and like them.
  2. Thanks guys. It's the fiber weedguard that's giving me fits. Like this one.
  3. Help! I got some weedless tub jig heads with a fiber weedguard and for the life of me I can't figure out how to rig them without tearing up the tube. A good detailed description or a video would be much appreciated. Thanks.
  4. That Ashley Madison situation smells fishy.
  5. Noguiera got his arse kicked
  6. with hollow bodied frogs.... I use the trailer hook by Lake Fork. for me, it works wonders and I catch way more fish. I am surprised that it doesn't get hung more, but it doesn't. so I keep using it.
  7. Gamakatsu G-finesse weedless.
  8. I fish from the bank a lot. fishing parallel works best. I use weightless texas rigged plastics as much as possible. or a very light weight. a jig or anything else gets hung up about every 3rd cast. lol plastics..any and all for me. mostly ribbon tail worm, hula-grub, wacky senko, small swimbaits, craws, etc. I also use; top water, pop-r(change the hooks), buzzbait, jitterbug, frog, spook spinnerbait 1/8 to 1/4oz for me. I find smaller is easier to control the depth from the bank shallow crank 3-5 foot max for me. for me, following and not biting. 1) change the speed, faster or slower. 2) follow up with a plastic of some sort. 3) change color. last night I was throwing a motor oil worm and not getting bit. I changed to a red shad and caught 6 within 30 minutes. good luck
  9. on all Pop-R's change the hooks
  10. just to add.... if it is a Pop-R... change the hooks.
  11. dang it...and I just placed a TW order over the weekend for Memorial Day sale... ugh thanks...
  12. positive. I've seen him "dip it". I tried a black sharpie. it doesn't absorb into the plastic. it bleeds and washes off
  13. where can I get black dye?? something like JJ's or spike-it in black? I have a member in one of the clubs I fish in that dips the tips of his green pumpkin craws in black and they look great...and more importantly, he catches lots of fish. he won't tell where, or what brand his is. I wouldn't use it in the club I fish in with him. I would only use it in the other club. I tried using blue on the green pumpkin but it still looks blue.. I want/need black.. anyone know?? thanks.
  14. I wasn't planning on spending another $5 on jigs...........?????? if you fish much at all... you better get ready to spend much more than "another $5 on jigs"... lol...
  15. jitterbug 4" Powerbait worm and 1/8oz white spinnerbait w/Colorado blade, deadly on the river here.. Zoom 6" Deadringer in redshad
  16. if they did nothing wrong.... then why are the 2 employees suspended without pay? nothing like messing with 2 guys jobs' so they do as told by Brady.....then lose their income....very nice
  17. for the Pats vs Colts game... I think the Colts should do a giveaway to the first 10,000 fans of de-flated footballs...
  18. my eyes aren't what they used to be.... having trouble seeing the low-vis green Suffix I like so much was wondering how their hi-vis yellow is? I'm pretty sure i'll be able to see it much better... BUT... my main question is about below the water visibility for the fish? is it that much more visible under water too? feedback please... thanks..
  19. if I understand correctly.. he would like to see less of an attitude from some guys when the topic has been asked/discussed many time before. just a helpful point in the right direction/to a previous post would be nice. there are many new members that aren't trying to rankle any feathers. they have a question and they ask. I realize they could "search", but I also realize that there aren't too many questions and/or topic that haven't already been covered here, many times. so, cut them some slack. and offer help...whether it be by answering the question, give advice, or refer to another post. if you don't want to answer that question for the upteenth time...don't. but don't rant at the guy either.
  20. my boater throws green pumpkin in muddy water, less than 1 ft visibility, all the time and catches fish. I think we over think way too much.. and I have the tubs of soft plastics to prove it.. lol
  21. Pflueger Supreme imo best bang for the buck I own 3 and have never had any problem with any of them.
  22. June Bug is my #1 choice then Blue Bug
  23. 3/8 for me. his swim jigs (like everything he has) are of the highest quality
  24. You can use a weighted screw lock swimbait hook with the hook point skin hooked for weedless or you can use a jig head running the hook from the nose out the back for an exposed hook. X2
  25. good answers above.. my favorite texas rigged plastic is a Zoom Speedcraw in Junebug. that has been my no. 1 producer in muddy stained water.
