  1. I've seen some really good boaters get turned around at night. After 4-5 minutes I'll ask where ya going? When they answer, I'll say not that way ya ain't!
  2. There's plenty of scientific evidence if you care look it up. I ain't gonna do it for you!
  3. No one mentioned having to wait an hour, the aren't blind during that period.
  4. Zoom's Ultravibe Speed Worm
  5. You're above the water & your eyes aren't a bass eyes.
  6. That's why fishing offshore is my favorite. Mosquitoes on Toledo Bend is a non-factor, even up shallow. We do have some little gray bugs that don't bite but will sworm you by the millions. They will crawl in you ears, nose, down your shirt collar, up your shirt sleeves, & up your pant legs. The good part if there's a 5 mph wind the bugs can't fly. They crawl around on grass mats & timber & boat docks. Our marshes & swamps I stay out off after dark.
  7. Maxima Ultragreen Threw that for about 5 years, no complaints.
  8. Mosquitoes are easily avoided! Get a mile offshore & there ain't a single one around. Avon orginal Skin So Soft is what duck hunters swear by since 1956.
  9. I'll give y'all 2 ? Texas Rig em with a 3/16 oz bullet weight!

According to the Orthopedic Surgeon I stretched my lateral collateral ligament (LCL) & ham string as far as possible without tearing them. Physical therapy twice a week, plus Tens Unit Muscle Stimulator, heating pad, ice compression at home.
  11. I throw the same colors at night that I throw during the day. Redbug, Plum Apple, Tequila Sunrise, Watermelons, Green Pumpkins. Spinnerbaits, Chatterbaits, & Buzzbaits I throw white more than black because we have a lot of Shad.
  12. @PhishLI pretty much my experience & if you think about it, it's kinda like daylight.
  13. The early morning bite & the late afternoon bite can be seen as a "daytime" or "nighttime" bite. During daylight there's a "active" bite around mid-day, at night this occurs around midnight. A bass doesn't know if it's 6 am, noon, 6 pm, or midnight. It knows it's hungry so it feeds, whatever time that is.

  15. Sooners baseball champions & softball champions.
  16. The eyes of a bass go through a night adaptation cycle beginning at twilight and are usually adapted for black, white, and all shades of gray within an hour after darkness. Just like daylight fishing topwater ain't always the answer. Bass DO NOT morph into a new creature just because the sun went down. FYI neither do their food source. During daylight we try to figure out their "active" time periods, you do the same thing at night. But Catt the bass move up shallow to feed at night...and they don't during the daytime?
  17. I'm down...not out! ?
  18. Summer I throw one, 6th Sense Crush 300DD Shad Drone
  19. Hack Attack Fluorocarbon Flippin Jig
  20. I was asked if I night fish during summer because I thought the water temperatures cool overnight. Or if I night fished because I believed the bass feed better at night. I shocked them when I said no, I night fish because it's to stinking hot during the day.

Do I got an update for y'all Whet to physical therapy only to be handed 10-15 forms to be filled out at home & be back tomorrow at 2. The funny thing is therapy is in the same building as the orthopedic surgeon. I'm thinking y'all are a hundred feet from the surgeon's desk & y'all can't access their data base! Now the fun part ? I got home & fell backwards off my front porch. The good part was the porch is only 4" tall. The bad part I twisted my left ankle, knee again, & back. But I will add I can walk slowly with the help of the crutches. Something I couldn't do yesterday.

Cortisone shot reduced the pain 60% but what's left is still unreal. I've dealt with back pain for 15 years but with this knee pain added it's mentally difficult to handle. I try extremely hard to avoid pain meds, they wipe me out completely. Start physical therapy tomorrow & will get the results from the MRI. Once again Marci Beaucoup Y'all

I'm not a good patient, I don't handle being immobile very well. I don't handle pain meds very well, they don't really stop the pain, & I sleep to much. The pain is one thing but the mental aspect is draining me. I can't even read bassresource. I have put earbuds in & listened to John Stryker Meyers "Tilt". Later y'all ?
