Most people don't like Cajun coffee because they say it to strong & bitter. When they make it the use the same amount as their coffee. I use an 1/8 cup measuring scoop in a 4 cup coffee pot but I fill the pot to the brim. So it's probably 5 cups.

If I can read the news paper behind the glass of tea, ya ain't gotta enough tea in it. Kinda like looking at a cup of coffee & seeing the bottom of the cup.

Depends on the weight used for the Texas Rig. I generally throw Craw Worms during pre-spawn/spawn & the Dog Days of Summer.

The moon's phases are divided into four quarters, two of which are your minor times, and two of which are your major times. The times for the major periods are as follows An hour and a half prior the moon reaching its apex An hour and a half prior to the moon reaching its perigee The major periods are the first quarter new moon and the third quarter full moon. The gravitational pull of the sun and moon is three times greater on the new moon than the full moon. At the time of the new moon the earth has the moon and the sun in a straight line pulling together. This first quarter, dark night phase differs from the third quarter full moon phase when the earth moves between the moon and the sun. The new moon dark night is only difficult on the angler because you must rely on your sense of feel when working your bait. If you want to really learn how to fish baits that require a lot of feel like worm or jigs try new moon nights. The times for the minor periods of these moon phases are as follows An hour and a half prior to the raising of the moon on the horizon. An hour and a half prior to the setting of the moon. Now take into consideration the above listed times you end up with 3 hrs. of major time periods and 3 hrs. of minor times periods. This does not take into account weather, seasons, or your ability to locate fish!

Rod Quality. What is the Separator? I am! ? Someone mentioned a saving 0.6 oz for $600. Kistler Helium is that light for $250 less. And yes I've thrown em both & will take the Kistler hands down. Someone else mentioned reel seats being a less important component. After the blank the reel seat is #2 in my book. I want that reel completely locked down & no rod does it better than my $150 Diawia Tatula.

What lure y'all talking? Texas Rigs & Jig-n-Craws 90%+ Johnson Spoon or a Frog maybe 60%- Some days I wonder if I know what I'm doing!

Both ? If you only go early you will catch more early. Same with evenings! My preference 6 PM to 6 AM...all night long! Why? Daytime temperatures in the triple digits.

Bass fishing is a mental game, to catch "bigger" bass you will have to change how you think about bass fishing. NADINE ain't gonna be hanging out with tighteyes! Nadine got big because she knows her body of water. We think we know it!

Don't know how this subject always ends up on double digit bass? This is a dumb Cajun's opinion! I would concentrate on catching bass in the 6-9# class first. If ya can't consistently catch those bass ya ain't gonna catch no double digits.
