All my rods and reels are shimano. All my " boat " rods are Cumaras and my car and travel rod is a 2 piece compre. For me shimano Cumaras are the best rod for the price with a amazing warranty. The shimano service center is 10 min from my house so if something happens its real easy to get it fixed. Before commiting to a series try them out and see if you like it.

Whats everyone using for spinnerbaits weight? I always used 3/8 but was thinking of going 1/2 to get a little extra distance. Also if you have used both do you need to burn it more if its heavier?

Tatsu 8lb on a Stradic Ci4 and a Cumara 6'8 Medium x-fast is my go to drop shot rig. It is amazing. Tatsu is the cream of the crop for me.

Mepps anglia #2 Single tail grub 3" Jitterbug On these 3 lures i have caught perch, sunfish, rock bass, smallmouth, largemouth, pike and even a 7lb bowfin. The mepps inline spinner is the most underated lure that exists. They are overlooked by many anglers.

The usual concensus for this question is aurora black, Chartreuse shad and american shad. I added the color Crack and i think its going to be a smallie killer!!! Instead of buying only 100's i would buy a 78 also. They are little killers.

Has anyone tried the new war eagle spinnerbaits with trokar hooks. They look awesome.

I notice everyone talking about Megastrike scent and Cavitron buzzbaits but nobody talking about the jigs. Is anyone using these? I like the idea of a fluorocarbon weed guard. Thanks

I use Gamakatsu trailer hooks on my spinnerbaits in 3/0. What size for a buzzbait?

The only potential problem iis that spo/river2sea/trutungsten/koppers topwater frogs do not dive. Maybe adding a little weight in front like a 1/16 tungsten bullet weight it would weight it down sub surface. Or a split shot on the back where the hooks are so that it sits nose up.
