how much are the carbonlite rods?

I'm looking to purchase a couple 6'6" MH Fast action rods to be used for 5/8 oz spinnerbaits and top water, as well as the occasional senko. I've managed to narrow my search down to these three rods and I can get all three for about the same price ($80 each), but am unsure which rod to get. There are no BPS stores anywhere near me, so I will never be able to to handle a Carbonlite before I buy one. I will be putting a Revo STX and a Citica 200e on the rods. I appreciate the input.

I am looking to pick up a few rods during the Classic, and am having trouble deciding between the mojo and the BPS carbonlite. The carbonlite will be $20 cheaper, and I've heard many great things about it. Can someone who has tested both out comment on the sensitivity/overall quality of each?

Hey guys, I am looking to buy a jon boat that I will be able to put on the roof of a car, or in the back of a minivan after I put all the seats down. I plan on fishing in a state park that does not allow trailers, so I need a boat that is light and as stable as possible. I am looking to buy a 12' jon boat, but am unsure if I should get a wide bottom one or not. There will be two of us fishing, and we weigh a total of 330 lbs. I will also be bringing along a trolling motor with the battery in the boat. How stable is a jon boat with a 31" bottom? I would feel a lot more comfortable with at least a 36" bottom, but a 31" weighs 90 lbs, while a 36" weighs 130 lbs. Can someone give me some insight? I would like to be able to stand in the boat without going for a swim!

where did you get a citica for $75?? was it new?

they said that the sale prices will only show in stores, but if you call in to order online, they will match the store prices. on that note, how big of a sale is it? I don't have any BPS stores near me so I never took advantage of this sale, although I definitely will this year. In the past, how cheap would you be able to get, say, a shimano citica reel?

hey zero limit, what do you fish for in lake michigan? I am living literally right next to it right now, and I just don't know how to fish such a huge lake.

I'm going to school in Evanston, just north of Chicago. Anyone know of any place nearby that's good for largemouth? I've heard the skokie lagoons are good, but I will be boatless, so I'm looking for some small lakes/ponds where I can shore fish.

Hey, I am new to this forum. I am currently attending Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Back home I have always fished for largemouth over the summer, but this summer I am staying in IL. Does anyone know of any good lakes/ponds I can go for largemouth? Lake Michigan is literally right next to our campus, but I would prefer smaller, local ponds/lakes. There are a ton of golf courses with ponds on them nearby but I do not know if there are fish in there or if I am allowed to fish there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
