  1. I don't think it's a hook mark. Are bass spawning in Japan? I've caught some during the spawn with similar marks and bloody tails. -jason
  2. I don't know Burley but that's FUNNY bro. Haha! jason
  3. I agree, that rule is ridiculous. I'm just stoked to see the fish though!! 8-)
  4. I would like to participate as well. Jason
  5. HaHa. Just joking around. That is a spectacular fish though. I wonder how long it will be before all is said and done? Months maybe?
  6. I have three as well. They are great rods for the money and have a nice warranty too. Nothing wrong with the Compre.
  7. Yeah I tried the thumbs up a couple of weeks ago......I'm stickin' to my Serious Bidness face. HeHe.
  8. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can come find this thread again and post mine before the end of this year! Hehe. (hey it's possible!)

  10. Looks like it's a matter of personal preference indeed! Thanks!
  11. Thanks for the input guys. I do appreciate it. Right now I think I'm using some small Spro swivels. They have a 60 or 70 lb rating or so it says on the package. I learned the hard way with cheaper swivels on a c rig once. HaHa.
  12. Yeah, I prefer to knot straight to the lure as well. I'm trying to cut down on some line twist and speed up my lure changes on my spinning rod. Some people think the swivels aren't a major factor but I would hate to think there's a 5+ down there passing up my bait! -jason
  13. Just curious what you guys think about using swivels to attach crankbaits, spinnerbaits, jigs and such. Would a Bass pass up a bait because of the swivel? I wondering because I have a white buck tail jig tied on one right now and the swivel stands out something fierce! HaHa. Your thoughts?
  14. Umm no. I'm saving it for the 10lber if I ever get it! -jason
  15. I try to keep pressure on the fish but usually just enjoy the show!!
  16. Yup. I feel your pain on this topic. Just got the smaller of the new HD Lowrance units and have caught squat using it. Nice for GPS though. HaHa. Anyone want to explain the finer details of graph reading we're all ears!! (eyes too) -Jason
  17. I'll take spring. No yahoo's blasting their music or drinking in the coves, haha.
  18. Affirmative on the bait business. There has to be more people just like you in need of good live bait in your area! -jason
  19. I was thinking the same thing about what it ate! haha. Craws or someones cell phone! j
  20. I've used the Yum Shad spray and have had no luck with it as well. It also temporarily turns your bait purple if I'm remembering correctly. Of course I've been known to get skunked frequently no matter what I do. Hehe.
