Does anyone know how to fish and rig soft swimbaits. Ive read the article on the site and it was as clear as mud to me. Im trying to learn how to fish something like a 5in hollow belly swimbait or just a plain ole minnow swimbait. Just something to get me started to swimbaits. I fish alot of plastics and just want to expand my arsenal.

Berkley 7 in power worms, they are the best. The bass hit em hard. Senkos another great plastic worm.

I have some tryed them and liked them, but i always go back to berkley power baits. They worked well with me and i caught some nice bass. But the confidence factor wasnt there. The bites seemed to come few and far between. And other worms seemed to work alot better.

Ive had the same problem before. Found bedding bass tryed every lure i had. And nothing... Took out my trusty zebco 33 put a bobber and a night crawler on it threw it right on top of their heads and BAM! They ripped it up. Got both of them. (and let go) When all else fails i try night crawlers, sometimes live bait is the way to go. : ;D

Sounds like you got pretty good gear. Hopefully it will work out for you. Your bound to catch something. If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of poles

I bought a pack of 7in power worm in blue flack. I think i paid 4-5 bucks for 10. Awsome action and the bass really hit them hard. Pulled in a nice 4 pounder just casting out to fix a tangle in my line. And that was just one of a nice stringer full. Average weight 3 and a half pounds, not bad.

When im using minnows I use what ever straigh shank hook i have with me. Doesnt really matter i havnt lost a fish due to hook troubles, and i put it under the spin right in front of the dorsal fin. Just have a centimeter under the skin. And i put them on a bobber throw em out, and wait. Nothing fancy, and ive had times where i threw it out walked away came back about 5 mins later bobber gone reeled it in and would have a 3 and a half pound bass on it. What do you guys think of the Berkley Power Baits. Ive had some awsome luck T-rigging and throwing into anything and everything. Any one have any methods they like? "If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of poles" :)

Ill go threw as many baits as it takes in my favorite spots. But ill usually just stick with my favorites, plastic worms and jigs and stick with them till I catch something. And 99.9% of the time ill come up with something "If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles" :) :)
