  1. I've had a tatula for a week, so far I'm impressed. I don't have any issue with the size.
  2. If you are running a trolling motor on it then you will need to register it

  6. I got 7.5 lber last sunday 4ft of 85 degree water in hydrilla. Thats was the only hit I had all day, but it was a good one.
  7. I have had pretty good succes on the frog R it's got a nice tight walking action. I did put a split ring on the front of it
  8. I've had mine for 3 years with no issues. It is used heavily and I have caught multiple fish over 8lbs with it. There is some wear on the foam handles but nothing excessive.

  10. I fished this lake for the first time on Saturday and picked up a few small bass. Do any of you guys have any experience on this lake? I'm trying to improve my odds for my next trip. Thanks for your help
  11. Congrats I got a similar duracraft last year mine is a good bit older though. I upgraded the fish finder and trolling motor on it and have been enjoying it since; in the process of putting hydroturf now. It's been great don't know why I waited so long to get one.

  15. If you buy in store make sure the eyes line up. I bought mine a while ago but a few of them had eyes that where way out of whack.
  16. I've had a 7' mh for almost 2 years. It is light and sensitive it feels more stout than my other mh rods. I haven't had any issues with the reel seat or breakage just some wear on the foam grips. I haven't dealt with the microguides on the veritas so I can't help you there, and I would consider getting another one. I have pretty much had flouro on it the whole time with no issues
  17. I used rustoleum self etching primer and marine paint a year ago. It came out pretty good but if I were to do it again I would put some type of hardener in the paint.
  18. It's already on there so set your drag accordingly and give it a shot. If you don't like it you will know pretty quick and can change it out for a lighter line.

  21. I would find a job closer to the coast
  22. I'd get some squarebill crankbaits and bounce them off of the timber and rocks. I like bandit 100's but there are a lot of good brands on the market.
  23. I bought a sellus spinning rod that had a cracked insert. It frayed my 20lb braid from the knot to about 8 inches up the line. I didn't catch it in time and cast a lure into oblivion, exchanged it and all is well now.
