I was going to fish busters this weekend, but I can't get off... Let me know how it goes, the South has been brutal the last month or so...

Awesome blog, I think i ran into you out at one of the spots??? Were you fishing off the back with a blue shirt? I have no idea where we were without my GPS in front of me but we were looking for clear water.......

The "middle of nowhere" is actually not a canal, its an airboat trail. You can fish there when the water is up but if youre not familiar with it i'd stick to the main canals. As the water comes down, you should be able to catch fish in any of the canals there.....

Wow... What a tough bite for me today.... I fished south and only managed a few14 inchers all day.... The weights seemed low in all....

I'd be afraid to hook anything but a standard 110 to my battery charger (not saying you can't). Just bring a long exstention cord with you where ever you go and find a plug.... That's how i've managed it thus far.... Good luck

I hit Holiday for a few hours this morning... Fished opening #1 with no luck then moved to the canals for a bit. Nothing but 10-12 inch fish.... The Park just hasn't been on for quite a while....

There's actually two tourneys running that day, says you can fish em both.... I can't make it this weekend, maybe next week if there's a tourney.

I was thinking about fishing the toys tourney this weekend but it'd probably be cheaper if i just send them the $50 and save gas........ I've struggled the last two times out on the lake.... If you guys aint getting them i think i'll save the trip....

That is actually good advice, I almost tore my bicep trying to remove a battery a few months ago (stinks getting old). Better advice is move on down to Fla so you don't have to winterize any more....

I tried Lox today from 1p to 5. Had very little success, only a few hits on big ez's. I'm guessing the cooler weather gave em lock jaw......

I've had similar luck, it's been tougher bite on the lake my past two trips.... You aint kidding about that wind though.....
