Take your GPS with you if you venture into the flats. The exits can be tough to spot on the way out.

How is the water? Are the flats accessible or choked up?

I was gonna say try kreamer but depending on your boat, running from Clewiston could be challenging.

In the summer I run the fill pumps and recirc pumps a lot to keep the water fresh and oxygenated. I don't put straight ice into the LW unless emergency, rather a frozen water jug as the ice has chemicals like chlorine etc. I don't know if it affects them or not but I do it out of caution.

If youre from MIA belle glade should be closer. Also in a small boat watch what the wind is doing. It can get bad fast up there.

Are you just replacing the cartridge pump or the whole assembly? If you think It's sealer pour a bit of acetone into where you think it's holding. Give it ten minutes then yank her out... Good luck
