Seaguar Flour Problems
I totally agree. The Fireline braid is my favorite. I like it a lot more than Samurai and 832.

First Time On Lake Okeechobee
Nice fish Shane, and an awesome video to boot. Can't wait to get a GoPro Hero2 for Christmas, I miss making vids! Great picture as well. I love throwing a spinnerbait!

Seaguar Flour Problems
If you do contact them, I hope you have better luck with Seaguar than I had with Berkley. One of the spools of Fireline I bought started to fray. I emailed them and got an automated email back saying to "send the entire spool in for them to look at". Well, it wasn't already frayed on the spool, it started to fray on the third cast. There was nothing to fray it, I was fishing open water with a Spro frog. Lame.

Google Chrome - Me Likey
I just started using Google Chrome today. I downloaded it a looong time ago. Switching over from Internet Explorer. It's much simpler to use and looks so much better. I know basically nothing about computers so this is probably "laughable", but for me it's a big deal! Anyone else use Chrome?

New Home Lake Pb
Really nice fish ya got there sir. What did you get her one? My guess it a jig... Also, is this your overall PB or just the biggest you've caught out of that particular lake?

Healthiest Thing You Do?
Actually, I was just thinking about this. I got back to my lifting regimine but added a long jog at least 3 times a week. Earlier, I put a pair of pants on that used to be really tight. They slid down my waist.

Jig Help
I fish them year-round, no doubt. Winter, spring, and fall are my best times. Not so much in the summer, unless it's overcast, raining, or cooler. I like Northstar jigs and my other favorite is GMAN jigs. I usually throw Rage Craws on the back, but Chigger Craws, Paca Craws, and Shaw Grigsby Craws work well when they want a subtle presentation.

New Cumaras?
They're made of a different resin, with different components. Not the same blank.

Oldie but goodie, never used one though. 8.5/10 Cumaras are great, except for the model you love and I slightly dislike Tatsu - you've convinced me to try this line next, and for that my wallet does not like you Sweet rod Reeeeallly want one of these reels Rubber band line My Combo: Savvy 734c Zillion 100HSA 50# Fireline braid

Rod: 9/10 Reel 9.8/0 Line: 8/10 I like the feel of Cores, the ergonomics are excellent. They feel a tad hollow to me, otherwise a very good reel. The 852, I've heard, is an excellent rod. YZ has too much stretch for my liking. Curado 50E Cumara 7'2 MH/F 14# Sunline Super FC Sniper

I think so. I talked to him a couple of times when I was with my dad. Really cool guy.

Favorite bait, weather, and cover
Let's see if answers have changed! It's almost been a year since I started this post. Does anyone have a new favorite technique that they learned this spring or summer? I really enjoy throwing swimjigs now - I had killer luck on them this spring. I also have another "favorite" situation: Mid-summer, air temperature 80 degrees, slight wind, clouds in the sky, almost over cast. Targeting 4-8 feet of water, throwing a Baby Thumper, Rage Craw, or Loster on humps and ledges.

That crash was absolutely insane. He will be greatly missed. My dad was friends with him and talked to him often. He was a great guy. How freakin' sad. RIP Dan.

Few Choices In 7'6" Mhf Rods?
Definitely consider the 763 instead. The 764 is a broom stick, straight up. More powerful than the 765 and 735. The 764 was made to be a carolina rig rod.

Music
Pretty much everything except for metal, blues, jazz, and pop. I like rap a lot, but only certain songs. For every rap album, I maybe like two songs. Wayne and Wiz are the only two I really listen to righ now. I also like RHCP, Trampled by Turtles, pretty much all country, etc. Not really into rock, either.

Fall Bass Fishin + North Star Jigs = Great Day!
Nice man. Really fat, healthy, beautiful fish. I'm impressed that you're using a 7' H rod and 12# CXX for jigs. I basically use a flippin stick and 50-65# braid. I wouldn't feel confident in getting a good hookset with 12# copoly. That said, if I was going to use copoly, it would definitely be CXX. That line is SO strong. The 12# breaks at something like 22.4 pounds - that is very impressive.

Fall Bass Fishin + North Star Jigs = Great Day!
Vinny, that is a superb fish, especially up north! Jigs are one of my favorite baits to throw as the water cools down. I'd say that fish is 5 easy. Really, really nice fish. What rod is that?

Sunline Super Fc Sniper
I have some, in the 14# test. It's very good line. I've had some unexplained breakoffs, but that is more due to my knots. I would buy the two for one spool in a heartbeat!
