For the past couple of years, it really hasn't been that bad in Va. We'll have the occasional 95-100, but usually 80's.

Went out for a bit today after work. Caught a dink, first time using the new flouro. Like it a lot. Loooong day at work. I'm sick, which didn't help. Took an Adderall a couple hours ago, still felling it. I'm in the zone. I really want to put together two more combos: Zillion Type R+ --- Champ Extreme DX744 Loomis BSR852 GLX --- Reel is undecided, maybe a Stradic or Fuego. I need a second job, LOL.

I'm moving away from Shimano towards Daiwa. They just feel better to me. I do have to say though a Shimano is a set-it-and-forget-about-it reel. You NEVER have to adjust your brakes or spool tension unless you're gonna pitch or something along those lines. Don't get me wrong, Shimano makes a hell of a reel, but Daiwa's feel smoother to me. Plus, it's like a truck, you can totally pimp them out to be badarse. Sure do love my 50 though.

Fishmaster- Thank you sir, they sure love the Rage Tails! Reelcrazy- A lot of my ponds are very overfished. Sometimes you can't buy a bite! Once you learn the contour of the bottom and locate any oddities such as rocks, rockpiles, timber, ridges, etc., you can key in on them and usually get a good one or two. Learning that kind of stuff makes you a better fisherman. Give me a fresh pond that never gets fished, however, and I will go to town.

Nice, my aunt who rolled up to our house today on a Harley drew this for me tonight HAMMERED drunk. Came out pretty sweet, now I really want it. She free-handed it in about 3 minutes. Trashed.

Great input as usual... If you're in to the older stuff, it will do fine, but otherwise I would drop some more money on something a little nicer.

That's a beauty Robert, I aspire to be able to buy some of the stuff you do. I think the Duramax is a beast of an engine, and with the Allison it's a no-brainer.

I really don't know. Some of the fish in that pond are SO healthy. It's a real good pond. I caught this 6 a couple days ago, and it was healthy as can be. Then you have the fish like the one at the top of the page. I'm kind of worried about it. I think one of the problems is some parts of the pond are < 6" of water, and the gills hide up there but the bass can't get them due to the shallow nature.

I just realized she fell for a Rage Craw both times, LOL.

It makes the baits swim with a downward motion, like if you fish a Thumper "backwards".
