  1. I like Power Pro. I have been using P-Line Spectrex 50# for a while, but it digs in.
  2. Double digits. I think Dream Lake would be my best option, thanks for the suggestions guys! Fat-G; The guy that owns a local tackle store here told me yesterday that he has been to Dream Lodge and that it is fantastic. He said he went in September and although he didn't get a trophy he caught many 7-9 pounders in 2 days. He told me it is one of the places that Shimano sends dealers to preview equipment. For what it is worth. Good fishing. Done deal. ;D

I have no idea. It had two golf-ball shaped knobs. One on the left, one on the right. Wierd.

Big-O- I LOVE YOU. Hahaha this day wouldn't have happened without you. There's no better way to get confidence in a bait than this.

Wow. I just had my best day (numbers) ever. 40+ in a little over 3 hours. All on Rage Craws. I actually had to start using Space Monkeys because I ran out of Craws. Normally I would be super hyped up right now, but I'm beat up and sore. I had a real close call at about 7:30. A fish hit the Craw so darn hard it literally ripped the rod from my right hand. I somehow caught it with my left hand near the butt. That would have been $260 in the drink. I can't freaking believe that day just happened. I had three periods of about 10 mins. where I caught one on every cast. Both thumbs are bleeding as I type this. My shoulder blades hurt. My back is killing me. Unbelievable. Here are the two biggest of the day. 20.5" 4 lbs. 10 oz. 20" 4 lbs. even.
  6. That oddly rhymed. ;D

  8. B R A I D Or Yo-Zuri Hybrid.
  9. I use them for everything.
  10. I want to see what "A day on the lake" is with you guys. How you prepare for the day, how long you spend, where you go, what you usually start out with, how big is the body of water, etc. I think this would be really cool to see the different ways people spend the day doing what we all love. I especially want to hear from the "older" guys ;D

Spro Frog Rage Tail Thumper Jig & Rage Craw Senko Trick Worm
  12. Agreed, it's a great technique. I like to use it in the winter, on sunny days. I usually use a green pumpkin craw, something with very little action.
  13. I'm interested in this as well. I fish from shore, so I don't have a livewell. I just try to get them back ASAP.
  14. I've caught big ones in the middle of the day two. I like bright colored plastics, specifically Smoke/Red Flake Senkos. Deadsticking.
  15. If it's off/on raining, 1/2 oz. black/blue jig (make sure it has rattles) with matching trailer. Around wood this is a deadly deadly bait. Gold bladed spinnerbaits are also good. I've recently found that when it's raining, a Blue Fleck RT Thumper Worm worked through creek channels, on the edges of weed patches with a creek channel near by, and by any underwater timber is a good way to bruise your side from setting the hook.
  16. Hahahaha I noticed that too. It must be a pleasure to fish.
  17. It's called the Tierra. It would be nice to see an offering from Daiwa, in this price range, that's not a tank. That's what I meant. I have a Tierra. It's a nice reel, but I just want to see Daiwa's go at a "Citica competitor".
  18. For the rods, I would definitely check out the Vendettas. I have one that I beat the crap out of and it's still alive and kicking. For the money, amazing rod. For the reel, check out the Shimano Citicas. They are IMO the best reel for $120. You could probably get one on here for+/- $80.
  19. Catt, I'm trying to work on slowing my presentations down. I know I fish a jig to fast. My question is how do you cover water if your fishing this slowly? or is this a presentation that you use once you know you are on or around the fish? Fishing visible cover makes it much easier. Fishing slow slow slow is tough, but if you think there should be a big girl there, chances are there is.
  20. Sam, will you take me out to dinner too? ;D ;D ;D
  21. If the boat can hold 4, I'm in.
