  1. I want one of these http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product4_750001_750051_766227_-1_757955_757781_757781_ProductDisplayErrorView_Y
  2. Wow nice fish man.
  3. Took this one the other day. Nice pictures!
  4. Honestly, contact Mike Ostrander. He is a GREAT guide, and a very good friend of mine. That man knows what he is doing.
  5. Mine is actually the one I caught last week. I just like how healthy this one was.
  6. Also cup your hands around your glasses.
  7. Yes, I have ordered from them. Some people have had bad experiences with them, but I ordered a Vendetta from them on a Wednesday and recieved the rod on Friday. For me, it's worth it.
  8. Hands down, Shimano Citica 200e.
  9. Just another reason to never buy a Quantum.
  10. Fat-G: My old dog, Ginger, who died last March. Best dog ever. Yes, she was fat. ;D
  11. David- I might take your word for it and get the Dobyns Savvy 705c, when the time comes. How balanced is it? Is it a stout rod?
  12. I like to match.
  13. My biggest was 7 pounds, and 27 inches. Caught it on a bluegill.
  14. I know what you mean. I've thought about getting permission to keep alot of the small fish at my pond I fish. Two ponds I fish have potential to give up more than one 10+ each year, they just need to be thinned out. The more I think about it though, all of the fish I catch over 4 are all fat and healthy. I've never caught a 5 pound 2x4.
  15. Anyone have any experiences with these? Trying to campare these to the Buckeye Mop Jigs. They're both hand-tied, Booyah is cheaper. Also, what trailer do you guys use with a Mop Jig? I like to use something bulky like a Brush Hog.
  16. I have a 7'3 HXF. Like it alot.
  17. I think the Ika is going to be very big for me this year. I love fishing Edit: Look at how healthy this fish is! Small mouth, chunky body!
  18. Had a great time out at the ponds today! Fishing was actually pretty slow, but I did manage to land five. Started off throwing a Trick Worm (Green Pumpkin/ Green Flake) and caught four. Then, I decided to give my Black/Blue Flake Ikas a try. Glad I did. First fish I've ever caught on an Ika. I might need to get a couple more packs ;D This little chunk picked it up off the bottom without me knowing. I caught her on my spinning rod, which was a blast. 4 pounds even on my Rapala Digi, 20 inches.
  19. I think these are underrated. I've bought three of these, and each one has been of VERY good quality. They're only $2.89 at TW, which is a heck of a deal if you ask me. Does anyone else use these?
  20. The Dick's in Lexington has a good assortment of them. I looked at them briefly a few weks ago and was impressed. I compared them to similar Mojos and I think they pretty well took the cake. I agree. They're actually very sensitive too. Worth checking out.
  21. Cumara CUSDX72M/ Stratic 2500 CI4/ 6# Yo-Zuri Hybrid Dobyns 734C/ Zillion Coastal/ 65# Braid
  22. I LOVE catching cats on 6# line. Soooooo fun
  23. Atta boy! I still need to stick a biggun'. Those are some healthy fat bass!
  24. D-E-F-I-N-I-T-E-L-Y get your jigheads from GMAN on this site. He does a very good job. Then get your skirts from www.fishingskirts.com. I would get the solid color ones instead of the Living Image. Much more color options. Easy colors to start out with are: black, blue, brown and green.
  25. True, those look awesome, but I think they are too thick. I like Buckeye Mop Jigs, the skirts aren't massive and dense like that. That really is a beautiful jig though.
