  1. Try these:http://www.dirtyjigstackle.com/products.php?cat=36 Brokeju suggested these to me. They look legit. Get the 1 1/2 oz. 65+ braid, and a STOUT stick.
  2. I'm guessing the latter ;D
  3. I have a Vendetta 7'3 HXF I'm trying to sell. Perfect frog rod. Lemme know.

I wanted a bait that was still bulky all they way up the hook for when the jig skirt fanned out underwater. This is exactly it.
  5. I bought a pack today and love 'em already. They just look like they catch fish. I think I have found my new jig trailers. They are bulky and perfectly fit jigs. They also probably do well flipping and pitching. And, they're cheap! Anyone else use them?
  6. Which Powell model would you use for pitching t-rigs around cover, lipless cranks, spinnerbaits and buzzbaits, and maybe a senko here and there? I might try to trade my Lowrider for one.

Today I was at Walmart today and they had a bunch of little Plano boxes for like 1 or 2 bucks a piece. They had a mix of two-siders and one siders. Since I usually bank fish, I was thinking of getting five or six of them. One for terminal tackle, jigs, etc. and a little soft plastics bag. I know this would significantly reduce the weight of my pack, but I feel like it would limit what I could use for that day. BTW I used to use a hard tackle box full of all the stuff I was going to use for the day, but I'm going to switch to just my drawstring bag. What do you use to transport your tackle when bank fishing?
  8. Eventually I will probably get 65lb PP for my flippin' stick. Does anyone use carolina rigs with bradied lines?
  9. What hooks do you guys use for 10" + inch worms? I was thinking of the Gammy Monster EWG. Thanks!
  10. It's a pretty good lookin rod.
  11. I did. Thank you very much! The only problem is that I really don't have a lot of money right now (saving for a first car ;D) and I still need a spinning rod. I think for now, I'll just buy my plastics. When I have all my rods/reels bought and am where I want to be with tackle, I will definitely give it a try. Thank you for all the help guys, I saved this post to my favorites for future use!

  13. I have a 6' MHF Casting model, and I have to say, for a rod I got for $20, it is REALLY sensitive. I use it sometimes for pitching finesse jigs and senkos around timer. If anyone needs a cheap, sensitive rod, be sure to check these out.
  14. Not much of a difference, but I personally would (and did) choose the 7'3. It's lighter and balances better.
  15. As we slowly edge towards spring, what will you guys start throwing? Red Craw Lipless Cranks are huge in mid-late Feb. for me, then I will move to c-rigs and jigs, spinnerbaits, etc.
  16. I fell on it ;D ;D ;D
  17. Good idea, I'll have to try that.
  18. I need to get a spinning rod, but I wanted to get some opinions here first. I know it will be a Clarus, but I'm not sure which length/power/action to get. It will be used for senkos, weightless trickworms, shakey heads, and an occasional drop-shot. The more I think about it, the 6'6" MXF would probably be the best option, but I keep thinking I should get the 6'6" MHF to get better hooksets. Which would you choose?
  19. Forgot to mention I want to catch some fish on a shakey head this year.
  20. Best combo you could get for the range you stated: Shimano Citica 200e/Vendetta 7'3 H.
