  2. yea sorry i was thinking of little hunting creek since you mentioned Riverside Park. anyways I've been to riverside park once, didn't have any luck . so you are allowed to fish Little Hunting? it looked like it was private to residents or something I know theres a trail on the left of the bridge, never checked the other side where it feeds into Little Hunting.

  10. just wanna say it looks like yall had a blast. that bass is a pig PotomacAngler! what did u guys do w/ the Snakehead did u eat it? I've wondered how they taste. 8-) if yall ever have an empty seat again, i'd love to join. i had the pleasure of fishing the potomac this year and it was great. im always learning but other than that i usually pond/lake hop all over Burke. feel free to hit me up Jake
  11. you could start out using the senko for a while. cast it, let it drop and wait for your line to swim away, then set hook to the moon! if no bites, you can do any number of presentations all the way back to the boat. reel in slack, lift the rod tip and let it fall back down again or u can slow retrieve it or drag it along the bottom or twitch it definitely go SLOWWW so u can start feeling the sensation of the bite. envision your worm the whole time and keep an eye on your line.
  12. def. go with a Shimano check out their selection, and pick a model based on your needs.

  15. so I'm fishing this tiny pond with some 4in senko'z last night and I remember setting the hook. after that I my drag went flying. i knew i had the big one on my line lol :D so fat, it had to have been eating up everything in that little pond i don't know much about catfish, but they say it was a 10lber
  16. i always just loop the line around the splitshot, that way it wont slide
  17. I'm use to sharpening my kitchen knives so why not hooks. those that know how effortless a well sharpened edge performs will understand this. 8-) anyways..... for whatever reason I found my recent pack of Gammy's quite dull. so decided to sharpen em, only took 20 sec or so but a hugedifference can't wait to test em out
