12" Power Worms
one of my fav. worms, they are long but skinny the action is great and bass just pound on these things all day long,i never leave home without them in my bag.just wish they made a 12" in white.i also like the netbait 12" worm in white works good on a shakey head or up top on slop. www.bogbaits.com makes some sweet HUGE worms/snakes.

Looking at BPS Crankin Stick
x2,i have this rod and i like it alot for deep cranks, its lighter then labeled i think and it has good action, the winch is a great choice for crankin with the low gears on it,that will be a very nice crank setup.i have an abu roundie on mine and it handles med-deep cranks well.i dont use braid on mine though not sure how those guides will handle it i use 100%fluoro 15-17 lb.

Why Use a Spinning Reel??

Is it safe to use Quantum Hot Sauce on my Pfluger Trion.
Hey Natural, My problem with Hot sauce is at both ends of the temp range. In cold temps (below 45), I found that it gummed up on me. On the other end of the thermometer (about 85+), it thins out and really caused the reel to scream on a cast (even the first time out after a cleaning). Any where between those 2 ranges I mentioned, I didn't have a problem with it. Fair enough, though I'm surprised to hear that Hot Sauce would gum up being as thin as it is. I definitely wouldn't recommend the Sauce or Yellow Rocket Fuel for folks that only break down their reels once a year; both are just too thin to keep your bearings protected that long. There is a reason the factory packs them so full of grease and oil; the average user doesn't flush as often as they should. i flush after every time i go ;D

Sanding down cork rod handles????
i have done this on a bps rod and it turned out fine, but remember all rod makes cork is different, but i used a dremel tool with the small sanding wheels, and i sealed the cork after i was done.came out fine for me and no problems with it since.just set your dremel speed on slow and take a little at a time.
-
Let me clarify...
otherwise get a white or light colored crank and take a black paint marker and add some crappie spots to it if you cant find exactly what you want.
-
SPIKE IT
i have the dips in 5-6 colors but never use them now that scent is in spray bottles.but sometimes it would work for me others it wouldnt.

Mattlure's hardgills...... WOW!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, you are an amateur fisherman. Realism is crucial in lakes with a lot of pressure. And, before you tell me that you don't fish pressured lakes, I will tell you that you could never compete in a tournament then, because they are typically at pressured lakes. And before you tell me you don't care about tournaments, I will tell you that it is my goal, and many other anglers goals, to get to that level. And unfortunately, you will never catch a trophy bass, because they tend to be a little picky. Maybe because they are old and have been caught on several occasions before, and don't go after anything unnatural anymore. But, I am glad you are on this forum, because you have a lot to learn, and there is plenty of information on this site. : (I think this "smiley" is appropriate at this time.) amateur..yea ,like everyone else, cause we arnt "pro" as for turning pro..good luck with that.and as for a trophy bass, have caught a few of those on plastic worms and one on a big spoon (i.e a dandy of an unrealistic bait)but yes here to learn and ask ?,thanks

New Falcon Rods

Kinda a dumb question
you can always grab hold of your fly pull it back and "ping" shoot it out there lol
-
Laser lures
never used them but watched them in a tank @ a show, wondered the same thing,if they work or is it hype.while watching them in the tank the laser isnt as profound (like when you tease your dog with the little dot) to me its just a "glow" from the front of the bait.still undecided about it.

Lures you DON'T use?
now the ? is...lets add up the amount of money we could have all saved ;D
