Me too, Tatsu and Sniper are the best fluoro's I've used. If you want a cheaper option, check out Sunline Super. It's right around $15 a box and is the best cheaper fluoro I've used. I also agree that Vanish is terrible, not worth the money at any price.

Do you mean Sufix 832? I've never heard of Gen 2. 832 has been out for a couple of years.

I usually use a weighted, screwlock swimbait hook. The hook size and weight really depends on the bait. A 5/0 hook might sound big but you need a really wide gap to get a positive hook set. I use a 4/0-8/0. I also sometimes use a swimbait jig head. I use from 1/8oz - 3/4oz depending on the bait and how deep or fast I want to fish it.

The fact that you're asking the question and answering the question in the manner that you did tells me you're probably not mature enough to carry a rifle in your truck. You're going to mess around and get yourself or someone else hurt or killed. Carrying a weapon is a huge responsibility and shouldn't be taken lightly. It definitely shouldn't be done to be the "cool" guy with the AR behind his seat.

Tackle Tour has done a couple of reviews on this bait. The first version was poorly made and not durable at all. I think Lucky Craft redesigned the bait and TT gave it a much higher grade the 2nd time around. I believe both baits reviewed were the 130 size. Like I said, I've never used one but it comes up on the swimbait forums every now and then and the consensus is always, "get a different bait."

I have to disagree with you also. A long, moderate action, deep cranking rod is COMPLETELY different than a shorter, med/fast rod, in every way.

I generally prefer hard swimbaits for topwater/wake baits. I like fishing soft swimbaits deep, or at least below the surface. If you want a swimbait that can fished on top, I would get a MS Slammer, a Shell Cracker or a Lunker Punker. The Slammer and Cracker can be waked on the surface. The LP is a topwater walk the dog bait.

It's WFN, the World Fishing Network. Like martintheduck said, they show fishing 24 hours a day. One day it will be fly fishing, the next will be salt water fishing, during prime time at least. They show a pretty wide range of stuff. I watch it more than I watch any other channel. I have Verizon Fios, not sure what all providers carry it.

I've tried it a couple of times. I like using a heavier weight, at least an ounce. That way you can retrieve it faster and keep bottom contact. I also usually use baits like Shad Raps that still produce well at slower speeds (that was my thought process anyway.) I've heard of people using floating swimbaits on a c-rig too.

No, why does it matter who's network it is? ESPN might have decided that market was plenty saturated, or maybe they will have one in the future, who knows. Personally, I don't care who owns the channels.

6' rods are generally specialty rods for fairly specific techniques. I can see the use in them but it would be pretty far down the list of rods I would consider building or buying.

Be careful when you pick those backlashes out. When fluoro gets a kink in it, it is severely weakened and will break. The InvizX should be more manageable than AbrazX.
