My 8th grade english teacher robbed 2 banks yesterday
crazy!! Our receptionist at work asked me to bring in the local paper a few weeks back, turns out one of her husbands good friends (her husband taught for like 40 years, just retired) was charged with stealing almost 20,000 from a liquor store he worked at. From what I hear, he was a great teacher, won teacher of the year a few times, and was a big shocker. Shows that you never know!

Question for Glenn
it's not like they're rubbing food on their almost naked bodies... unless you ask of course!

Fishing Resolutions
at least you've had one lol. My big fish goal this year was to break 5 pounds, came as close as possible without going over that "magical" 5 pounder mark. But up here a 3-4 pound fish is "big".

Best way to rig senkos
what you'll find is that there is no "best" for anything. (rigging, location, bait choice, etc.) Anything will work with a senko. That being said, I usually wacky or texas rig it.

My Personal Best!!!
wow, seems like a hell of a lake you have there!!! I would never keep anything over 2 pounds, but like others have said I wouldn't criticize someone that did. The negative effects have already been stated. But if someone legally catches a fish, and it's legal to take it, they have every right to. Just like we have every right to decide to put it back, and catch it next time when it's bigger.

weedless soft swimbait?
I've done good with money minnows, if you're havng a hard time getting it to sink try a weighted hook. Problem solved.

Northern Winter Tactics
I've been having the same problem. I've done some research, but haven't found anything worth posting. Let me know if you figure it out, it's killing me!

Spring Lures
well here, spring is just after the spawn, and the fish will eat anything in the water.

Zoom Brush Hogs
try out everything you said, and see what works best for you. I've had success with brush hogs doing almost anything... deadsticking it, swimming it back, twiching it around, try everything you can think of. Never limit yourself to what you were told is the "best" when you're trying new baits, or even with baits you've used forever. I've had some of my best fish using techniques that people would overlook, in places that people would overlook. Cliffnotes: Don't be afraid to experiment, and never pass up trying something because someone told you it won't work.

how do u guys fish ur flukes
I love flukes, was one of my most productive baits in 2009. How do you fish one? like any bait, there's no real answer for that. I use a 1/8oz keel weighted hook 99% of the time, helps the bait swim properly even on fast retrieves. Sometimes i'll just swim it back nice and slow, sometimes i'll burn it, sometimes i'll fish it like a jerk bait, sometimes i'll just let it sit on the bottom and give a slight twich now and again. Best bet is to experiment, and see what works best for you. I like Chris' part about putting it in shallow water. (I try to always do this with baits i'm not familiar with) Play around a lil bit, and see what the bait does under different conditions. It really helps your confidence, and helps to work the bait the best if you can visualize where it is, and exactly what it's doing. Match that with precision casting, and you'll be deadly!

Affair With Another Fish?
I enjoy catching any kind of fish. I mostly bass fish because that's what's most dominant in my lake. But i'll take a pike, pickerel, musky, trout, etc. any day of the week. When the bite is real slow, time for ultra lite and panfish!

Kind of ticked at BPS
I don't order online from them anymore, because it always seems to be a headache. I go to ***, and always have my items in 2 days.

The Decade Will Be Remembered By....
The fall of the Berlin wall was not in this decade , you had better brush up on your history. if you read, he says it was in 1990 lol

The Decade Will Be Remembered By....
depends where you live. Tragedies like this always impact people closer to the event more. Every time I see the new york skyline, I look to where the towers where. It was a little different when you could smell the smoke, hear the chaos, and then the realization that if that was a bomb you may not have lived through it. Around here, nobody has forgotten. But it's like anything, you can watch katrina all day long on the news, but it's nothing like the person standing on their roof hoping help will come.

How bad is it to use lures heavier than the ratings on the rod?
along with possibly breaking your rod, it will be very tough to move through the water. Similar to getting snagged on a big stick, you can drag it back in, but it's a pain in the but. Add any kinds of weeds or cover in there, and it will be brutal. That being said, if you don't go too far over, it's usually not a problem. But I wouldn't recommend it on a pole that you don't want to break.

kidney stone
I had one once, and man, for those that have never had one, imagine ramming a nail through your johnson and then trying to pee while it's nailed to a board... cringing thinking about it

read my above post lol.

Need help with largemouth
read the articles, use them as a guidline, but don't set them in stone. Best bet is to experiement and see what works best, then keep doing it. People think slow down in winter, and most of what you read will say so. My last time out, I caught 3 fish in about 5 minutes burning a money minnow. I got nothing fishing slow.
