  3. SEC fan? I've got WVU and Ohio St. in the finals with Ohio winning it. 147 for the tiebreaker, though might go lower due to the defense of WVU. BR Bracket anyone?
  4. Build a better product and the world will beat a path to your door. Have you used an Ardent? They are fine reels, a little heavy, and ugly as hell. Last I checked it was fishing, not a beauty pageant. I recently got rid of my Ardent, and never had an issue with it. I could cast a mile, brakes were easy to adust, and it could take an abuse. I highly reccomend an Ardent reel. My point was peripherally pointed at the Ardent or any other American product for that matter. Rewarding mediocrity is a straight line to a dead end. Subsidizing ineptitude hurts the consumer. But in my opinion Ardent reels are above mediority. I'm loyal to my country just as much as anyone else, but when it comes to buying a product "made in the USA" has little impact in my purchase. You can polish a turd all day, its still a turd.
  5. Huh? Maybe before butchering and re arranging words around in a post, some questions could be asked as to why I decided to part with it. I traded this reel for a fair amount of swimbaits. Nothing was wrong with the reel, at all, just felt I could get the most out of that reel in a trade.

  7. She has a kid!? How does she...? How did he...? Gross.
  8. Cheeks to seat. I never have time to "doll" up the seat. I'm a man. And it's my butt. What do I care?
  9. AMEN, Aaron, AMEN. Welcome to the site. I have a yak, however not on the elite series as a Hobie rider, yet. I was thinking about taking the kayak out this weekend coming up and hitting up the Potomac, or one of the feeder creeks. However, I have no spots, and hold very little skill in the sport of fishing, so Dan, or Andrew (A. Do) might hold a little more value than I.
  10. If this thread wasn't two pages, I would have laughed and kept going. I'm intrigued, and have a fresh stack id lipless baits. Where to I drill the hole, the top?
  11. That team is the Dallas Cowboys of the 90s. What's up with them?
  12. I have a 360 tackle bag, but will be picking up a crap load of both sizes this Sunday. I wish I would have gotten the size 370 bag, it's pretty cramped in the 360.
  13. 24. I definitley would have scored higher in high school.
  14. I heard owls creek is where I should be . Any idea what to throw?
  15. Seems easy enough. Thanks.
  16. I was thinking about ordering a pair of fishing glasses from online, but ran into a Pair of Ray Ban glasses I have that I thought I had lost. Is there a way to tell if these glasses are poloraized or not? They're legit $130 Ray Bans, I just dont remember when I bought them if they were marketing as polorized.
  17. I will be in Virginia beach for Wednesday through Saturday. Can anyone let me on on some spots down there? I will have my kayak. Thanks. Any surf fishing worth it now?
  18. I was using a mh/f rod for the latter part of last season with no ill effects. I was throwing in some heavy cover, but all were dinks and relatively close to where I was wading, so I didn't have much of a fight. Check out e bay or BassResource, they will have some good deals. I just picked up a mojo flippin stick for $95.
  19. I saw these on sale at bps for $49. I don't know if it was the same model or what, but definitely of sale for $49 for a Save Phace mask.
  20. I'm impartial. To be frank, I have seen the term swept handle before, but never thought anuthimg about it. I literally just found out what a swept in handle is about 27 seconds ago. I have a few that are, and a few that don't. So, without much said, I am neutral.
  21. What are some differences in a rod used for punching mats, and a swimbait rod? I got my mat pinching rod, and like it a lot. Was wondering if I could get the same one for swimbaits. It's a bps extreme, 7'11" heavy extra fast. Lure wt 5/8- 3 oz. Suggestions?
  22. for the record, so I don't look like a ******. My wife is taking me to BPS, and then wants to fish somewhere down there. So we are going to hit up the James, if not for bass, then monster cats.
  23. I stopped watching MTV when I was 16. However, I was bullied my freshman year of highschool by a group of seniors. I may watch one episode of this show.
  24. He's talking about a 3 inch senko. I personally wouldnt wacky that because its so short I don't think it will have the all enticing wiggle on the fall. For my wacky rigs I use a zoom trick worm and a #2 octopus hook.
