  3. Josh starting a revolution!!!
  4. It couldn't hurt going with a 300. I was looking at the okuma big boy rated for 1-6 oz suckers? Could that handle punching too, or is that too much rod? Sorry about the typos, btw. I'm. On my phone.
  5. I would rather catch fish, than watch people catch fish. I'm not sayin, I'm just sayin...
  6. Welcome new river, glad to see what seems like an expert posting in here. Do you know the spawn time? Please, stay active in this thread. You seem to be what we need. I've got an extra pair of waders, Dan. Breathable, though.
  7. I mean... my price range can vary, but id say no more than 2 bills. But I have no h rods, just a bps MH rod that's almost out the door. Cardiff looks legit.
  8. What about a reel? Ice sewn a lot of Calcuttaaa on sb. Setups, is a high end reel necessary. ? I think I'm all in on swimbaits. Fellas, meet the potomac pioneer of swimbaiting.
  9. Let's shoot for pre spawn or spawn, eh?
  10. Dan, any recommendations on a sb rod sub 150?
  11. I'm not talking your little plastic swimbaits, I'm talkin MattLures swimbaits. Is this realistic or would it be a waste of money on the rod, reel, and lures? I'm trying to get well-versed in every technique this season, and want to jump on this bandwagon if it seems logical.
  12. List so far of people in: If you need to pull out at any point take this list and take your name off and repost: General consensus and telling me the New River for some massive smallies; yay, nay? Mudkart. Me.- In for smallies at the New Nova Angler Hoki. Thai.
  13. I'm also down for a weekend adventure. Drive down friday and fish all day saturday and sunday morning, and get back SUnday night...? Also, I'm interested in following closely behind your guys' guided trip. I'll give you guys $5.

  15. I think we would need to know what you throw most of the time to best determine what line suits you properly. But before RW does it, I would reccommend Yo-Zuri Hybrid in either a 12 lb, or 15 lb for your bait caster. Its a glorious line. Your 8 lb on your spinning should suffice.
  16. dude.... if you don't have any muskie lakes near you, why the HELL would you get a muskie rod and reel? I bet it rains in wiscawcin...
  17. Thats horrible. He was also one of my favorites. Sig and he were my top two. RIP big fella.
  18. Pretty gnarly. Though 2 of the 3 houses I tried didn't have street level pictures yet.
  19. put the reels and rods in from the passenger seat, with the butts of the rods and the reels next to your buddy's left leg/ knee. Unless he's Andre the Giant, he should have enough room. Camry is bigger than my car, and I can easily fit 6-7 rods with someone riding shotty.
  20. Agreed. I had heard there were plans for one right outside MOA, but that fell through. Latest news is a possibility in the north metro. It would be nice to have the Rogers Cabela's and a BP within 15 minutes of each other. I'm real surprised there isn't one near mall of america. I kind of like the fact that they aren't so many around, at least from what i've heard. Its like a full day outing whenever I got to BPS. God bless BPS.
  21. I'm looking to add to my arsenal for the upcoming MONEY season I will be having. I was wondering if i can have a frog rod and swimbait rod coexist in one? Or are the characteristics too different? thanks, homies.
  22. Mazda 6 are money. I could get my fly rod at 9' if needed. I saw in the bps catalog that some 7'6" rods have a retractable butt section. Don't know how much it would help, but it may a little.
  23. I've got a Rick clunn worm/ drop shot rod and love it. It loads up and can launch a weightless worm about six miles. I plan on buying a few up during the classic sale, a crankin stick and a frog rod. Looking forward to slayin some hogs this spring.
  24. Your product looks good, and it is in my want-to-spend price range. However, the next reel purchase I make will be a cranking reel. BUT, I dont a reel in the 5.X:1 range besides the Vision round reel, and that just looks like garbage (no offense). re you guys planning to make a slower reel?
