MS 13
Yea, they are pretty fluent around here. I took a an organized crime class and school and learned how this gang actually handles things. Shocking to say the least. I heard that they will drive without their headlights on and when Joe Citizen flashes the high beams at the on coming car to let them know to turn them on, the car would turn around and chase the car down. Kill everyone inside. While I thought this story was bs, it happened twice during that semester in a county near by to where I currently live. They would also attack other latin gangs with a machete. A member would walk up to another member of another gang, and THWACK! chopped off hand.

Haha. Its a jsj snack snize trout. Wayne claims its been kissed by Josh St. John. or something like that. I had one in the bass pattern, its a real nice bait, at a real nice size, 7" and 2.5 oz, i think. Its targeted towards the tourney angler who want to catch big bass. Also its got pretty stiff joints (at least mine did) and says its best fished at a faster pace. I'd imagine them being killer as the fish move up to the shallows, but may limit your depth on where you can fish it. Matt, what bait were you using? nice fish!

Knot/Line
Me, too. I had my first issue with the albright knot this weekend, though. Completely my fault. I had the leader too long, and the knot would go through the guides just fine, but not through the reel. I wound up, tried casting a mile... birds nest. lost spool of new line. My knots on line are pretty much all the same. Palomar or improved clinch. Braid always gets the palomar, though. Types of fishing can alway cause me to change my knots. Top water/walking/glide baits- rapala knot Jig- ALWAYS palomar. dont always have braid, but always use the palomar and my line to line is always the alberto. Never experienced any issues until I made the leader too long.

Replacement for a Brush Hog/What's your's
dude, how big are those things you've created? I wouldn't think they slip through the brush all that easy, though.

Swim Bait's/Who's are better?
Leave the man alone. I'm not sure why, but I like this guy. He creates some crazy things. Sure, a shirt could would be nice, and an English class would be a great idea, but the man said he was hit by a 43 ton truck. Keep doin' what you're doin, man.

lunker punker's
I would say throw it, what is the worst that can happen, you don't catch a fish? It happens when throwing big baots. As for rod, it depends how you walk baits. I don't mind a long handle as I tuck the handle up in ny armpit. Specifically I use a 7'9 Daiwa Heartland rated up to 8 oz. It's perfect for walking, as its got a pretty soft tip when launching the 4 oz baits. You should be tossing them now. I've got a 9" wood you can use until your water freezes. Let me know..

39.25" 13lb pike
Gill plate him for sure. A buddy of mine caught a 31 inch musky over the summer and that was how we finally got him up. We tried the Boga Grip thing and it only ended up with the fish thrashing around and busting his lip up.

Senkos catch fish....period.
What is a senko? Never heard of it...

lunker punker's
yea, it's a walking bait specifically. I wouldn't try dead sticking it unless I had it wrapped from SBI. Even then, I don't know if I would.

Drop shot for smallies in a river
Going on a smallie trip this weekend. Will a dropshot with a fluke work okay for smallies in moving water? I'd imagine it be killer, and am going to try it regardless what you guys tell me. I'd just like to have reassuarnce.

pflueger trion reel
My wife has one, as it was one of the only LH reels Gander had when I bought it for her. I would have gone a different route, but the options were limited. Its a good reel. I just spooled it up last night with some line and was casting it this morning, and was surprised on how well it casted. If the price is right, go for it.
