I mistyped the lakes name it should have been written Lake Tarpon. My brother in law is taking a family vacation to Tampa Florida this winter and is looking to spend a day or two on the water.

Can anyone recommend a bass guide on Tarpon Lake? Looking to fish in February.

If I had one piece of advice it would be make your online store more user friendly. It is really difficult to use / view products.

I'm not familiar with "flea flicker"? Can you explain? Last time I heard the term "flea flicker" was in high school football ;D

One other note the weeds are probably 8 feet long. Most of the fish were sitting on the bottom according to the graph.

I fished a local lake this weekend and I struggled! What techniques are you guys using for deep weeds? Water is between ten and twenty feet deep. The weeds are milfoil growing from the bottom up. Fish were sitting on the drop offs between shallow and deep water. I'm just curious if anyone has any techniques for deep weeds. I spent most of my time throwing a willow leaf spinner bait.

When do you put the shrink tubing on? I guess before you thread on the hook?

I would like to give this a try however I can't for the life of me understand how to thread the hook?

Joe Thomas did an entire show on swimming a jig, he mentioned swimming a jig anywhere you would normally fish a spinnerbait for a differant look. He insisted on using a trailer with a lot of thump

Does this crank suspend or float? Do you fish it like a jerk bait or a constant retrieve like a crank bait?

I'm in the market for a bait casting spinnerbait rod. I already have the reel that I want to use it is a Pflueger President, I picked it up at Gander Mountain on sale for $75. I have surfed all over the internet reading all kind of rod reviews and have pretty much decided on a Abu Garcia Vendetta. My question is what model should I choose? Moderate Fast, Fast, Extra Fast? I need something to cover half to three quarter ounce spinnerbaits. Thanks for any advice I'm fairly new to bass fishing. Any other sugestions with a budget of $100?

Anybody know if these will work as a trailer?
