Spanish...
I "book" learned elementary. I learned dialect while I was there which isn't to far off from elementary. The big difference are the dialect I learned is very "proper" language compared to a lot of slang that is used in other regions. The slang is the hardest thing to learn, no way to do it but to be there.

Spanish...
I have thought about that Dan, actually when I got out I was planning on moving to VA. I had several jobs lined up starting at 80k +. For someone without a college degree that is absolutely unheard of. The reason I didn't is because of a little 4 letter word that controls my life called my wife. She wanted to live near these treacherous things called inlaws...

Spanish...
I can speak spanish and arabic. I took spanish 1 and 2 in highschool and became fluent in the military. Arabic I learned on my own through 3 deployments to Iraq and Rosetta stone. I have huge amounts of training in Intelligence work through 5 years in the USMC. I also have a TS-SCI security clearence. My training cost the government over $250,000 (including all the investigations for the clearance). This all combined amounts to very little in the civilian job market. Anything outside of military contracting or a job with homeland security does not need my skill set. This is why I am continuing my education. My point is, your degree is going to be in Psychology, from an employment perspective which do you think will compliment the Psych degree best? All I can really offer is to know what you want to do and take the minor that will best fit to exactly what your shooting for to make yourself the most marketable you possibly can. You need to be able to distinguish yourself from the other 50 applicants for a position. In all honesty I don't know enough about Psych to offer educated input. If your not in a location where you will be counceling Spanish only speakers I don't see how a Spanish minor will be worth its weight. I don't see how biology would compliment it either but this is something you should look into. Maybe go and meet up with a Psychologist who does what you are wanting to do, buy him or her lunch and discuss it with them. Most professionals are more than willing to help out, especially if a free lunch is involved

The one thing I do like quite a bit there is the turkey bacon ranch sandwhich. The ruben is pretty d**n good too.

Spro Little John CB's
These baits look like they can definately hook up with some anglers... how do they do hooking up with the bass? Anyone use these that can give a review?

Arby's.....
yep honestly fast food prices are absurd. $8 for a meal? I could spend another 3 and go eat at apple bees or something.

What are you looking for in a sales associate.
I'm not sure my local Dick's even has a sales associate, I've never been asked if I needed assistance, so your already ahead of the game.

Eh I don't know I'm neither for nor against it. There are ups and downs to both sides.

Madison Chain Wi. Help Needed
I got out this morning, they weren't touching top waters. Rippin jerk baits over grass beds and spinnerbaits through the grasses, as well as slow crawling jigs seemed to be the ticket. All in 6-10fow.

MEGASTRIKE'S STRIKEBACK SPINNERBAITS ARE READY TO SHIP
Bobby - I have fished these on 4 outings now and must say... well done sir, well done. The blades are very unique, I like them quite a bit. But what I really like about these is the swivel, I have landed 17 fish on these (about 12 on the same one) with a 100% hookup to landing ratio. I have yet to lose a fish from it throwing the hook. They are holding up extremely well also, very solidly built. Will you offer replacement blades at some point?

MEGASTRIKE'S STRIKEBACK SPINNERBAITS ARE READY TO SHIP
I have been fishing these in the 1/2oz for a little over a week now and must say... they are a very solid built spinnerbait.

Tungsten wieght sale
that really is an incredible deal... 6 tungsten weights for 99 cents? Though these are not completely tungsten they are a composite mixture of tungsten and plastic. The weights end up being the same size as lead weights.

What rod, reel, line, for pitchin' and flippin'??
Flipping switch is definitely not needed. What is needed is a 7.x:1 ratio reel of your choice. This will get you out of the strike zone faster if there is nothing there and on to the next spot. Honestly flipping is significantly easier than pitching imo. Though I pitch 5x more than I flip, one thing that really did help me when pitching is grabbing the lure on my left hand before making the pitch. It just feels more control to me.. For flipping I use a 7'6 mag heavy / fast action rod w/ 65# braid For pitching I use a 7'1 heavy / fast action w/ 15# Fluoro

fall turnover, what do you do in the "green" whenlakes turnover?
The lakes here have not turned over yet, water temps are still around 74. It's probably an algae bloom. As far as the big fish... don't know what you've been experiencing, caught my fair share of 3-4#'ers this summer which is good size here.

Kind of a bummer we don't have access to the entire lake but only the Michigan side.

Illegal Culling
Glenn, Can you clarify this for me? So if you are fishing for recreation... if you keep your 3, 4 or 5 (whatever the limit is) you can't keep fishing for fun and release the rest? While recreational fishing you have to have 1 less than the bag limit. Say the limit is 5 fish. You keep 1-4 in the live well and have to keep releasing that 5th fish until you decide your done. If you toss that 5th fish in your live well your done and can be ticketed if you continue.

ok i need some help
what is the river? I have fished a few rivers here for smallies and I can usually catch them dragging a tube or a jig. I went to a bright red color skirt recently and that has been working very well.
-
Tube dragging
wont be more than 12fow in clear water. I usually throw a 5/16 or 3/8oz jig head for tubes.
